Everyone is friendly, the security guards are very nice and helpful! The events are super fun, my favorite is the field day every year. Theres free shirts, snacks, music and a bounce house. I also love going to the library. There is a pretty view over downtown Dallas in the corner and plenty of workstations and charging ports, they even have a puzzle table in the middle of the room and i enjoy working on it while waiting for my train.
My experience with Dallas College has been unique as a dual credit student since I was able to meet various people from all over the world, with various perspectives on life and future goals. Nonetheless, Dallas College has great academic goals and great ways to achieve them by providing their students with academic, emotional, and physical help.
Over my past three years attending Dallas College as part of my P-TECH graduation requisites, I have had many positive experiences with professors who genuinely care about teaching the younger generation. However, I acknowledge that there are challenges, and I must address the perception that some professors may harbor negative attitudes toward teaching dual credit students like myself.
