We just loved it!! Oysters were amazing. Sea Bass was the be of the best ever. Will definitely be back. Derive was wonderful.

We dined on a Friday night and the restaurant was quite full and energetic. We started with the clams, grilled octopus and oysters. The clams are the star! The broth was something I could drink. I hope to return and have the linguini with clams and I hope it’s as good as this starter. The halibut was interesting and full of great flavors and the Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked with the crab and sauce being just the right amount of richness. I was so full after our starters that I didn’t need the artichoke risotto that it’s served with. I will be back.

Great service. Nice interior. But food is overpriced for the quality. “Blackened Halibut” was expensive and NOT blackened. It was baked dry inside with a sauce on top. That’s not “blackened.”

Love the dollar oysters for happy hour. We could eat dozens but try to contain ourselves. Our waitperson was lots of fun as well. Calamari, fish tacos, ceviche are great and also good value. Go for happy hour, stay for dinner.

We had a lovely evening at Rockefellar. My only complaint was that one of my mussels was bad. Otherwise all of the food and service was great. We love this restaurant.

To start things off with I’ve had good meals and successful dinners at Rockefeller. Unfortunately, this night was a mess. I arrived on time for my 545 reservation only to have to wait an additional 35 minutes before being seated. When I talk to the front desk, their answer was people are staying longer even though they were told about deadlines they could not ask them to just leave so I understand that , however I was with my girlfriend and her two young children so I just created unwanted stress. Making the reservation is great but keeping the reservation is the more important piece. Our server should’ve been notified how long we had already been waiting, but evidently she was not, and took a long time to even bring over drinks… We placed our order immediately and what we really wanted was just to eat and leave at this point. The food was good But the service was not up to par. I will still give Rockefeller another shot because I’ve had good experiences as I mentioned in my opening statement. Thank you, JG

The food was exceptional, but the restaurant is far too bright for an enjoyable dinner experience. We asked the server twice to lower the lights and she agreed that management keeps the space overly lit.

Nice atmosphere and friendly waitress. Oysters on the half shell were great but calamari was a real disappointment. Just breaded and fried without any peppers or other spices to enhance flavor. Just dry fried rings. Salmon entree was very good.

What a treat to enjoy the state's most delicious lobster rolls!! We came in with friends specifically to have Rockefeller's fantastic Lobster Rolls and they did not disappoint. The place was jumping, was lively, and the food was fantastic. Sierra was a very attentive waitress and the biggest thrill of the night was meeting the owner and hearing about his other restaurants...we will be there to try them!! This guy knows his food, how to serve it, and how to make his guests feel special.

Stumbled on Rockefeller after rain canceled a concert. Made a quick reservation on Open Table. Arrived a little late and were seated within 15 minutes of arrival. Noisy but great atmosphere and vibe. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Started with calamari, followed by a shared wedge, glad we shared half was a great size. My wife had fish and chips not the greatest but she enjoyed them. I had the shrimp tacos and really liked them. Great experience if you are looking for a great seafood place with an albeit small menu, check the place out.

Loved our experience at Rockefeller. Everything we ate was delicious and our server, Sierra, made our whole dinner fun (we were celebrating a birthday). Would definitely recommend and will come again next time we're in Scottsdale!

A nice restaurant. We all ordered the strawberry walnut salad with grilled salmon. Only one of us got any strawberries and none of us got anything more than 2 walnut pieces. We all got a great piece of salmon and had we gone for the salad alone, we would have had nothing but lettuce to eat for a hefty fare. We flagged down the server who did not offer to get strawberries. She checked with her manager and offered one free dessert. Interestingly the free dessert was loaded with strawberries. Message was that they did not run out!! They just failed to follow the recipe.

I guess coming from a foodie place (San Francisco Bay Area) the food was not even close to that standard. Cocktails were very good, service, ambiance, decor were all fine, as were the prices, but not the dining experience I was hoping for.

Waited 26 minutes for a server to come to the table when he finally came over he said he forgot he had us and then said what did we want the food was terrible. Ordered oysters they where clearly sitting in a fridge and had almost freezer burn on them. The drinks where subpar and we got the drinks 10 minutes after the appetizer. Ordered shrimp cocktail it was completely dried out and came with nothing on it the menu stated. Will not be going back

Staff were very friendly and took care of all our needs. My wife had the sea bass, and I had the filet. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The old fashioned's were excellent. We'll definitely eat here again.

Enjoyed Rocketfeller very much. Appetizers and cocktails very good. Dinner was delicious, had the salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Dinner.cost was a great value!

I know that I always write positive reviews, but we just can’t find a bad meal in Scottsdale. Another great find is Rockefellers. Syerra took wonderful care of us, with great suggestions and service. Raw oysters good, clam appetizer excellent, sea bass exquisite. Good vibe, good wine list.
