Edison High School is a big diverse school that is filled with students of all kinds of backgrounds ready to learn. I didn't get to enjoy much attending this school because I only came here for my senior year. This school is really big on sports especially football, the football games are very fun to be at and watch. Everyone shares the same excitement being at these games, cheering on for our school hoping they win, I had a lot of fun at the few games I attended it was an overall exciting environment to be at. My classes were fun as well, all my teachers are very respectful and helpful and try to make learning fun which is very appreciated. The best part of being at this school was meeting new people and making new friends, I enjoyed how big the school was and how much different people there was to talk to because at my old school it was small and you saw the same people over and over.
I have never had a negative experience at Edison High School. They provide many opportunities to students ranging from preparing for college to playing sports and after school help programs.
The changes that I would like to see would be allowing staff having an easy access on the resources that they need. Rather than having a long process to get the resources that they need and creating an un-trusting relationship withing the premises.
High school, the four years that many of us anticipate with both excitement and trepidation, have been a remarkable chapter in my life. As I reflect on my overall experience, I am filled with a mix of emotions – nostalgia, pride, and gratitude. These years have been a journey of growth, learning, and self discovery.
My high school experience was a tapestry woven with academic adventures. I encountered a wide range of subjects, each with its unique challenges and joys. From the complexities of advanced mathematics to the artistry of literature, I was exposed to a world of knowledge that expanded my horizons. These experiences not only sharpened my mind but also fueled my curiosity and thirst for learning.
Beyond the classroom, my high school years were marked by extracurricular activities. Joining clubs, participating in sports, and engaging in community service allowed me to explore my interests.

There are so many amazing teachers on this campus that make me feel excited about coming to school every and actually make me feel seen and heard. Though I see everyday how tired and spread thin they are working more than they are paid to make sure we students have all the support they can offer us. Meanwhile I've had so many bad experiences with my school counselor and administration that I feel as though they belittle us students just because we are teenagers. To me the one thing that makes this school tolerable is being able to come to school to see all these spectacular teachers and being able to assist them on my free time to print for them or help them to grade. I would like to see these teachers be given more support and for administration to start realizing that just because we are young that does not make us incompetent.
Overall Edison High school isn't as bad as other people say. As long as you aren’t involved in any drama and hangout with the right group of people. Best parts about it is they always have music or some type of activity going on during lunch, many events and sport events, etc. Worsts part is when you get in trouble by the CSM for the dumbest reasons.
I loved it all 4 years was amazing besides the distance learning part but now I am excited to say I am a alumni class of 2023 GO VIKINGS it was great I learned and received many many good things and loved to use these factors in my new world to start my new journey of college.
Overall school was fun although there were a lot of bumps, we all got through it. The biggest challenge is Covid and the highlight of the school year was graduation. There are so many clubs and sports. It just creates a place where anyone can be themselves. One thing I would like to change are the safety measures within the school.
while i do believe it is a mediocre school, the focus on the mediocre student is it's main downfall.
There are some teachers who really do care about their students and their education. However, the majority to do not care about the future of these kids. These kids need someone guiding them for their future success and most teachers do not care enough to do so. My AP and honor class teachers have been very helpful in everything in and outside the classroom. I am grateful for them.
I think Edison is a great school base on the area it’s located in. It is very diverse at Edison and teachers strive to make students the best they can be and also are very supportive and encouraging. There are such great and amazing teachers here who are always going above and beyond for their students. They actually show that they care and are alway invested in us students. The academics they teach are also very good and they always make sure that we understand what they are teaching or showing us. Although they are great, I believe they need to expand on their electives and hire more staff members. I also think they need to invest in a library for students to check out books and have a study place for them. I also think that they should listen to students more or at least listen to the feedbacks of students since they are allowing them to know what is wrong or how they feel. I also feel like the administration at Edison needs to be more organize and communicate with each other more.
This school overall is good they have programs such as AVID that really help with college readiness. The community is very united, and the teachers are very nice and eager to help.
I made many friends there and learned many things. I've seen many online posts about how other students from other schools talk about how they aren't taught how to live once they've graduated but in my school i always felt a lot of support and was constantly taught many things that a lot of students would find troubling to discover on our own. Its things that aren't only beneficial to us as students but it could be something that we could pass down to our future kids or other family members.
I have been at edison high school since freshman year and its been fun. The football games are great. The dress code does need to be improved in the future though.
My four years at Edison have truly been a learning experience. I've met so many wonderful teachers. Past teachers have always gone above and beyond for us. That is why I am still enjoying my time at Edison. So many students receive the assistance they require. I don't think there is anything I would change about Edison. The staff is always making changes and attempting to improve our education.
Edison High School is a very diverse school in which made me feel comfortable attending there. They have all sorts of clubs to help students get out of their comfort zone and meet new people, all while benefiting them to succeed. AVID is one of the best programs offered at Edison since it prepares us for college and explains the expectations and requirements needed. The staff members such as teachers and hall monitors ensure that students are safe and attentive with their academics. Overall, Edison is an amazing school and I am glad to have attended that school from freshman year to now as a senior.
So far my experience here at Edison has been good. I am sad that I did not get to experience a full year school year when I was a freshman and a sophomore, due to the pandemic. When I came back to school my junior year I made friends very fast. I made many friends of many different races and ethnicities. That’s another thing I love about Edison: that it is very diverse and easy to make friends. One thing I would love to give props to at my school is the teachers. The teachers here are so kind and caring. They find ways to teach students in engaging ways. Edison High School, located in Stockton California is a great high school. I would even consider coming back as a teacher or counselor.
