It's an unassuming space. Low key, casual, which contrasts with the food. We met the chef/owner (Rebekah) who is passionate about food and despite being busy, was happy to talk about various ingredients in the courses.
The current offering is a 14 course degustation, the...first 6 come out all at once. All very tasty, one mouthful size each. And pretty to look at.
Degustation menus, especially when so many courses, make it very difficult to remember what you ate. Instead the whole experience becomes critical in your perception. But one very interesting, surprising and delicious ingredient (in one of the desserts) was plankton. That was new to me (then a quick search to find out more). We shared a wine pairing, as generally the amount is enough for both of us. The price for the wine pairing wasn't obvious and at €80 was quite expensive and it would have been good to know this beforehand. We would have likely had some wines by the glass.
It was a lovely experience and worth a visit, especially if Degustation menus are your thing.More
