Any alt/90s/punk restaurants/bars in lansing(sort of like Stella’s Lounge in GR)?
It’s the kind of vibe I fall into, and I was hoping there would be a place like this around. I recently moved to lansing from GR last summer. Thank you to anyone who can help me out.
The Avenue is gonna be your spot
Pretty much the response I would give but I sure wish The Avenue had, in order of priority, 1) vegan/vegetarian wings and other bar food (not ramen, I don't want to eat ramen at a bar), 2) FunHouse, 3) pinball for a quarter. Yeah, I wish Stella's were in Lansing.
Not gonna find pinball on quarter pretty much anywhere nowadays. Sadly.
Sure, but that's why it's such a charming feature of Stella's, especially since the game in question is FunHouse.
Avenue all the way. Even has the arcade machines/pinball to boot. Ramen instead of Juicy Lucys though.
try macs or the avenue
Macs sucks since they renovated into a sports bar basically
Yeah fuck macs
Wow been kinda thinking Macs on my next bar visit. Doesn’t happen often but now I know to avoid Macs
This. The ave is probably your best bet.
The Avenue rules
There’s a place in old town that has pinball, can’t think of the name haven’t been in years.
The Grid! Arcade bar with games, unsure if food- but can participate in social district of old Town
Don’t think it has a kitchen. But pinball and arcade games are free as long as you’re drinking
That's good to hear! I went a few years ago and you had to pay for each machine, along with expensive drinks
Basically the way they do it is you get tokens for games when you buy drinks. You can get more tokens by buying more drinks. I can't remember if the machines take actual coins too, or if you have to buy tokens, but you can absolutely pay for games without buying drinks if that's your thing.
