UPDATE 3:30 P.M. (WLNS) — One person was pronounced dead at the scene of a train incident involving a pedestrian at the East Lansing Amtrak Station located at 1240 Harrison Rd., MSU Police report.
A call into Ingham County’s 9-1-1 line at 1:52 p.m. today sent officers with MSU Police and paramedics with the East Lansing Fire Department to the scene of the train incident.
The team attempted life-saving measures, but the individual was pronounced deceased.
MSU Police officers and detectives are still on the scene conducting an investigation into the cause of the incident.
EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Emergency crews are on the scene of an incident that occurred Friday afternoon near the East Lansing Train Station.
East Lansing Police and Michigan State University Police are on the scene.
