SEC Parking

Hi all, heading up to Glasgow tomorrow for the Baby and Toddler event at the SEC. I've previously parked at the village hotel on a weekend whilst attending events at the Hydro as it was free, is this still the case? It still states its free parking on their website but I've been told by a few friends it's not free anymore so I'm unsure what to do. I don't want to pay the full day charge for the multi story car park as we will only ne there for a few hours. Or is there anywhere else in and around the area we could park free or a reasonable price?

Thanks :)

The last time I looked a couple of months ago the Signs said it was free for 3 hours, thereafter, the ANPR camera at the entrance no doubt will record your number plate and it will be passed onto a Private Company who will send you a Penalty Charge Notice.

This is not an official Fine, it’s up to them to take you to Court if you do not pay.

Thank you, we definitely wouldn't be longer than 3 hours so might make a bee line for there and see how we get on.
