The BEHR 5 gal. Flat Barn and Fence Paint is a ready to use Barn White finish with easy water clean-up. This paint is wonderful to work with even on rough siding. It’s only needs one coat and lasts for several years. We used it at least 10 years ago and i just redid the white trim and touched up with the red. It looks great. And it doesn’t show where I touched up against the older paint. Love it and recommend if you like the barn look.

Bad product - avoid.
I bought this paint at the end of the summer 2022 and used it in the fall for the railing on a deck. The railing was pressure treated lumber and had a year of exposure to be able to take the paint as recommended. 2 coats were applied . Attached are pictures of how the paint has held up in a bit over one year. It is absolutely horrible. The paint is bad and the cost of the paint and the work is a loss and now will have to be totally redone. Olympic paint on the deck is perfect.

Based on the pictures you provided, it looks like there may be some tannins bleeding through along with the peeling. To get your project back on track, I recommend removing any loose coating before making sure that the surface is clean and dry. Then, prime the wood with our stain-blocking Multi-Surface Primer (No.436) to seal the surface before recoating the railing. This paint has great coverage with one coat, even on rough wood (I still gave it two coats because that’s what I do).

I can’t use this white paint. It doesn’t match . I didn’t see barn house when I ordered the item. Im so late but i had a stroke and i was intensive care.

5 Gallons did two coats on my barn, and had leftovers. Was easy to apply, the color is rich and gave my barn a much needed face lift. I can tell this paint will be durable and last years!

I used this paint on My Back Deck and it covers the areas real nice. Thick paint that lasts a long time as I live in Snow Country and the Snow tends to rub it off during Winter Seasons. This sticks on quite well.

Perfect barn red color
My 20-year-old shed was not looking good, so I decided to give it a makeover. I’m terrible at picking out paint colors, so I was happy to find this barn red paint ready to go. I got inspiration from Pinterest to paint the door gray and the trim white. I painted it 4 years ago, and it still looks great!
