Kristen Stewart is ready to walk down the aisle with Dylan Meyer.

The Spencer actress and the screenwriter have been linked since 2019 and made their engagement public in November 2021. Stewart confirmed it in an interview on The Howard Stern Show.

“We're marrying, we're totally gonna do it,” she said on the radio show, per E! News. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening.”

The two first sparked dating rumors mid-August of 2019, when Stewart and Meyer were snapped smooching up a storm on the streets of New York City.

“I found the right person because I can be so obsessive about what I do,” Stewart said of Meyer in a 2024 interview with Rolling Stone. “And luckily my girlfriend, my partner, we are into the same shit. We have taken the things that we’re spending our time on and interlocked them, and we’re so much fucking smarter and stronger together. And you’re just like, ‘Fuck, that is the best.’”

She has written for films and TV shows.

Meyer has writing credits in films like Loose Ends (2015) and XOXO (2016), which stars Sarah Hyland. She's also worked on the TV series Miss 2059, a sci-fi story about a girl who accidentally finds herself battling in a dangerous galactic tournament. Meyer most recently brandished her writing skills for Moxie, a Netflix film released this past March.

She also acts.

Besides screenwriting, Meyer has dabbled in acting. According to her IMDb page, she held roles in short films like The Death and Return of Superman (2011), Wrestling Isn't Wrestling (2015), and Jem Reacts to the New Jem and the Holograms Trailer (2015).

She and Kristen first met on a movie set several years ago.

In a 2019 guest appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Stewart explained that she first met Meyer on a movie set six years ago. The two lost contact until Meyer showed up at a mutual friend’s birthday party, where sparks flew.

“The day that I met her, it was like all bets were off,” Stewart said. “I met her years ago on a movie and I hadn't seen her in six years, and then she rocked up at a friend's birthday party, and I was like, ‘Where have you been, and how have I not known you?’ She's been living in L.A. alongside my life somehow but not ever converging.”

They have similar quirks and interests.

“It was so obvious,” Stewart added of her connection to Meyer during her Howard Stern interview.

“We're both from L.A. and we really love L.A. We're both kind of, like, scumbags. We both felt like trolls as kids. We're so similar but different. She's a writer, she's brilliant,” the actress gushed.

Kristen first told Dylan she loved her after two weeks of dating.

During the same appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Stewart revealed the sweet way she told Meyer that she was in love with her, just “two weeks in” after they started seeing each other.

“The first time I told her I loved her, it was really late and we were in some shitty bar and her friends were there or whatever, and they walked out,” she said, “and I was just like, ‘Oh, man, I'm so fucking in love with you.’ Done.”

Stewart also revealed that the two had already talked about marriage at that time.

Dylan and Kristen are getting more comfortable sharing their relationship in public.

Since paparazzi first snapped pictures of the two, Meyer has shared some glimpses into their relationship on Instagram.

In a tribute for her 31st birthday, Meyer caption a photo of Stewart and her dog, “Life sure is sweeter with this cute little family. Happy birthday, kiddo. You knock my socks off.”

The two have also embarked on multiple high-profile events together, including the Oscars, the Critics’ Choice Awards, and the Sundance Film Festival.

They're working on a TV show together.

Stewart shared with Vanity Fair that she and Meyer are collaborating on a potential TV show, which Meyer is writing and Stewart plans to act in.

At first, the actress worried that a business relationship might impact their romantic relationship. “You don’t want that to affect this beautiful relationship you have,” Stewart said. But their professional dynamic ended up being fruitful; they wrote the first episode in just a week and a half. “Like we discovered a superbrain,” Stewart explained. “She’s a really genuinely brilliant fucking screenwriter.”

She also expressed her excitement about marrying Meyer. “I love being engaged,” she told the magazine. “It’s different. … I just feel so happy and lucky.”

Kristen wants to have kids with Dylan.

In an interview for Rolling Stone, the Twilight star revealed that she's ready to start a family.

“I don’t know what my family’s going to look like, but there’s no fucking way that I don’t start acquiring kids,” Stewart said. “And also, ideally at some point soon I go, ‘I want to have a kid.’ I really want that to happen.”

She confirmed that she and Dylan have started talking about the possibility of each carrying the other's embryos. “I’m not scared of being pregnant. I’m not scared of having a kid,” Stewart explained. “But I’m so fucking scared of childbirth, it’s crazy.”
