I hesitate to even call them sex scenes as they are shot with such weird angles and editing antithetical to any sort of stimulating flow (not a euphemism) and might as well have been a series of still photography of faces and naked bodies that are never fully in frame and certainly not two bodies clearly at once.
Mia Zottoli is here and that’s worth some points. As is Amber Newman trying to have some silly fun (“bitches, not witches!”), and the wizard-or-something…

Alright, here we go. Three women on a sexy photo shoot unlock a chastity belt and are sent to the fifteenth century. Dungeon of Desire begins with the most ridiculous premise and then follows through on that promise. It seems like a lot of these old Surrender Cinema movies figure out a way for women to go back in time. Yet, somehow all of the women in the past have silicone in the right places. Needless to say, these aren't exactly historically accurate.

This isn’t The Twilight Zone, this is the Orgasma Zone! Very goth. Very cool.
Three women touch a magic chastity belt and time travel to Medieval times, having to figure out how to get home through engaging in the blandest of softcore porn. I don’t think it can even be considered pornographic because it’s just a bunch of hands and faces touching topless women.
Very boring apart from the occasional dumb-funny line.

This is a Z sexploitation film with time traveling (the scene with cheap special effects made me laugh) and the most badly written dialogues you may expect (imagine people in middle ages talking as if they were porn actors or pimps). Sets are cheap, and actors are as awful as usual (Mia Zottoli is particularly unskilled) in this kind of low budget exploitation. Everytging is very unconvincing. Though, curiously, the script is not just a sequence of excuse for softcore sex, but a true and seriously failing medieval fantasy story. This involves a magic chastity belt, an evil queen conspiring against the princess, inquisition and witch-hunting, a wizard with a goatee, and so forth.

It has moments of brilliance. The running gag of the medieval magician enjoying the walkman left behind with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd on it is classic stuff. And overall I'd say this is more fun than most Surrender Cinema entries.
But it also has the worst fucking prop swords in history, and as a medievalist, I struggle to give anything about this film a pass. But I'm still finding a way, dammit.
