To enhance the international recognition of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), the HKEAA delegation participated in the 2024 Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference and Exhibition in Perth, Australia, in early March 2024. The HKDSE has been an important qualification for senior secondary students furthering their studies locally or overseas, or pursuing a career. In addition to local tertiary institutions, higher education institutions from the Mainland and worldwide have indicated their acceptance of students with HKDSE qualification. The HKDSE Diagnostic Feedback System (DFS), developed by the HKEAA integrates the multiple-choice question banks of various HKDSE subjects. Teachers can compile examination papers by selecting questions from a particular year, scope of content, level of difficulty, etc. for assessment of students, and obtain diagnostic reports, which include expected grades and key knowledge points and hints written by subject experts on questions that students answered incorrectly.
