Titans fan dragged down steps in violent fight at Rams game

A video posted to Twitter on Sunday night showed a group of fans engaging in a fight that ended with a Tennessee Titans supporter getting thrown down the steps – and another fan’s head getting stepped on.

The Titans played the Los Angeles Rams this past weekend on “Sunday Night Football” at SoFi Stadium.

The video started with four fans shoving each other in the aisle between two sections, before one fan — donning a No. 47 jersey with the name “Liniero” printed across the back — grabbed the Titans fan by the neck and dragged him down the concrete stairs.

Other fans started to intervene, but the camera panned back to the initial pair of fans still shoving each other back where the fight began. After a few seconds, one fan appeared to punch the other in the face, forcing him to fall onto the steps. The person wearing the No. 47 jersey, now walking back up the steps, then appeared to then step on another fan’s head.

That man then turned and walked up the stairs toward the exit, still mouthing words as they left, while people from the two sections tried to assist the fans on the ground. It’s unclear what caused the fight to originally start or if SoFi Stadium security eventually intervened after the recording stopped.

It is not the first violent fight at SoFi stadium this season. Rams and Chargers fan were involved in a bloody preseason brawl that also went viral.

The Titans, even without star running back Derrick Henry, cruised to a 28-16 win, while forcing Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw two interceptions and recording five sacks. The Titans only accumulated 194 yards of total offense, but took a 21-3 lead into halftime after Kevin Byard returned an interception 24 yards for a touchdown.
