Bella Vista ENT approaches the diagnosis of your allergy sensitivities and symptoms seriously. We know that it's essential to find out what triggers your symptoms, how fast your symptoms occur and how severe they are. Combined with your medical history and physical exam, allergy testing will complete the process to give you and us real information about your allergies. For the majority of our patients, we determine personal sensitivities by skin testing with the most prevalent allergens in Southern California. Blood testing is sometimes used as well, depending the doctor's recommendations for testing each patient. Determining the source of your allergic reaction is the key to developing an appropriate and successful treatment plan. Your lifestyle and preferences also play a role in the discussions you will have with your doctor regarding your allergy findings and treatment options. We offer several methods to treat allergies, including allergy drops. Drs. Glenn Waldman and Jeffery Feinfield

I recently had a balloon synuplasty procedure done by Dr. Feinfeld at the Bella Vista center and it was a life changing event. For a long time I've suffered from post nasal drip and sinus infections and no doctor was able to identify the problem until my visit to Dr. Feinfeld. He tested me for allergies which I had none and from there he recommended we do the synuplasty procedure and after five weeks I have never felt better. If you have any sinus related issues I would recommend a visit with Dr. Feinfeld. He walked me through the entire procedure and answered all of my questions relating to the procedure.

Dr. Feinfield changed my life. I've never been able to breathe through my nose. I finally went to see him in my early 30's resigned to this life of snoring, mouth-breathing, nasally, allergy-prone, constant sinus infections and anxiety/depression. After an easy in-office sinuplasty procedure, my life is forever changed. I can breathe now! I can taste my food. I DON'T SNORE! I don't have anxiety or depression. I look better and I sleep better. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Feinfield, Dr. Waldman, and the entire staff at Bella Vista.

Dr. Waldman performed an Tympanoplasty on my right ear to repair a holE in my eardrum. I had slightly diminished hearing because of the holE and I was scared to let it go because I was told the infection could go to my brain if not fixed. Dr. Waldman performed the surgery at he Simi Surgery center which charged an exhorbatant amount of money for the procedure. At least double or triple of what would normally be billed. The Simi Surgery Center rushed me out while I was still groggy from the anesthetic. In the first place the procedure did not work and my hearing my greatly diminished. Dr. Waldman said well you can leave it as it is and get a hearing aid or I can refer to to another doctor. I selected option B. I went to see Dr., Friedman and USC Keck who performed another tympanoplasty. This time the surgery was successful but I never regained the hearing in my right ear that was lost after Dr. Waldman's surgery. Dr. Friendman's comment to my husband after surgery was "it was a mess in there" I now have greatly reduced hearing in my right ear which cannot be repaired as well as tinnitis. I never would have had this surgery if I had only known that Dr. Waldman was not competent to do this. Please go see a surgical specialist if you need surgery. Obviously Dr. Waldman does not have surgical skills. Simi Surgery Center is a rip off. The Keck Center billed appropriately about 1/3 of the anesthetic charges that Simi Surgery Center billed. Dr. Waldman is also very cold and did not have my pain prescription when the surgery was finished. My husband had to drive all the way from Simi to his office in Thousand Oaks to get the prescription. He has pretty offices but that is all. I will suffer the rest of my life from severe diminished hearing. STAY AWAY!
10/16/2016Previous reviewHad tympanoplasty surgery in December of 2015. Surgery did not work and doctor said you can live with it or go see a specialist at USC, which i did. Second doctor was able to get the graft to stay in place but I am left with significant hearing loss with frustrating vibration and echoing in the ear Dr. Waldman did surgery on. Dr. Friedman at USC commented to my husband that "it was a mess in there" after he completed the surgery. Dr. Walman also billed my insurance triple what USC billed after using his facility in Simi Valley where he is part owner. If you must have any kind of ear surgery please, please do not use this doctor. If it was a matter of just a hearing aid I could do that. But I know the hearing aid will only amplify the terrible sounds my ear produces. I will be making an attempt to find a lawyer to see if I can get some sort of compensation for what is now a lifelong condition.

After years of struggling with sinus issues, snoring, itchy eyes, itchy ears and trouble breathing especially through my left nostril, I finally sought treatment and underwent sinus surgery. I was told I had a deviated septum as well, and the surgery was to correct this, open the sinuses, and remove part of my turbinates. I chose to do this under general anesthesia. It has been almost a year since my surgery and I wish I'd never had it done. My breathing isn't any better, I have problems with my soft palate that I never had before where my airway literally closes off if I'm in the wrong position, my sense of smell is almost completely gone, my sense of taste is drastically reduced, and I am now developing major issues with my ears including fluid in my middle ear that will not drain causing major balance issues, dizziness, and hearing loss. I had horrible panic attacks while recovering from the anesthesia and the surgery, and have had problems with that since. On top of it all I still can barely breathe through my left nostril. I continued to have itching in my ears after the surgery and another doctor told me i have eczema in my ears. When i asked Dr. Feinfield about tjis and the dizziness issues he ssid it was age!! (Im only in my early 40s). No other research, exs, suggestions, nothing but live with it. I truly regret ever getting this surgery done, or at least researching more doctors to do the surgery because this has made me much, much worse. Try a different doctor. ...........

If you CARE about your EAR, NOSE OR YOUR THROAT - take my advice and stay away from Glenn Waldman - I went for a ear wax removal on my right ear and ended up with diminishing hearing after prolong exposure to the suction he used during the procedure. When I called and asked for him - he never responded to my call until a few days later and eventually, he had his assistant called who had absolutely no idea of what she was talking about. His recommendation was - go and get a hearing test. That's it, that simple.

I went to Feinfield years ago for a check up. Got the bill in the mail for $250! That's with insurance. So called the office to ask why so much receptionist was super rude said first time visit charge which I was never warned although could of asked beforehand, but still felt it was sneaky and an outrageous amount. I asked the receptionist isn't this a little pricy "I can't be the only one enquiring about the price?" she's says "yeah, u are" with extreme snottiness;) Stay away not a trustworthy place.

We are very sorry that you felt this way. Our front office staff are trained medical professionals who are highly knowledgable about health care providers and their plans. Unfortunately, all health insurance plans will vary on the types of procedures and exams they are prepared to cover. We thank you for your feedback.

Never even got to the doctor after nightmarish experience with front office. You've never seen so much paperwork in your life, including 2 pages of fine print 'policies' that all favor them and which you must sign. Plus a full page asking me about Botox and other cosmetic surgery procedures, though I'm there to see an ENT. Finally finished signing stuff and 'oh here's one more form for you'. Just ridiculous and insulting. My advice if you're determined to see this guy: bring an attorney.

Our new patient paperwork is made up of industry standard documents including a patient information form, a health history questionnaire, a confidentiality agreement, a patient information consent/disclosure form and a take-home HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practice. After discovering that many of our ENT patients did not know that we also offered facial plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures, we decided to include a cosmetic questionnaire in our new patient paperwork. We have now instructed our front office staff to present this form only after a patient has expressed interest in cosmetic surgery. Thank you for your feedback.

Today I had my new patient consultation with Dr. Feinfield. I've been having horrible problems with sinusitis and bronchitis for the past month with multiple doctors being unable to help me. I was starting to lose hope and becoming extremely frustrated. Then a close friend referred me to Dr. Feinfield. I was able to get an appointment the next day which was fabulous. He has a state of the art office with everything you need. His demeanor and professionalism were impressive. I still have some more tests to do but I feel confident that I'm in the right place. Worth the extra drive so far and I would refer my friends and family. Front office staff is extremely pleasant and friendly.

I recently underwent sinus surgery with Dr. Feinfield which means he has now done surgery on every member of my household including my son when he was 9 years old. Bottom Line: I come from a family of medical professionals and I too am a medical professional so I know exactly what to look for in a surgeon and Dr. Feinfield is it. There's no way I would entrust my husband and son to anyone who wasn't the best of the best -- Dr. Feinfield is talented, skilled, and passionate about staying ahead of the curve with the latest surgical techniques. He's also genuinely caring and compassionate. And by the way, since my surgery was done right in the office, the staff treated me like I was having a spa treatment!! They dimmed the lights, wrapped me in a warm blanket and played beautiful music! If that's not enough, in the 18 months since the last time I had seen Dr. Feinfield he had stopped taking my insurance so I had to pay the out of pocket cost (which I was willing to do anyway because he's exceptional in his field). Well the darling angel in billing got my out of pocket cost SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. I also have to give a shout out to the fabulous front desk girls who always get my appointments booked lickety-split. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Trust me, as someone who has seen A LOT of quacks, A LOT of medical mistakes, and A LOT of hospital-related craziness that would make your jaw drop, just go to Dr. Feinfield. You won't regret it.

Dr. Feinfield has been great in helping me with my sinus issues. He was able to diagnose an issue of mine, and keep me from getting a surgery that I didn't need and ultimately would have caused problems for me. He has also help with my wife's TMJ, and brought her tremendous relief. The only thing that would make him any better is if he was in network. Most of the best doctors aren't though.
