- OTOpenTable DinerSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoLucked out, I would guess, getting a window table for four. Fantastic views at sunset and after when the city lit up. Service was outstanding. Food was good to very good. Pacing was perfect. Seated at 7pm. Finished just after 9pm. The leisurely pace was perfect. All good. Although, I was surprised to see TAX added to the total cost of the dinner. I anticipated the 18.5% gratuity, but tax on a restaurant meal. That was new to me. I would recommend for a special occasion or not, if you don't mind the cost. There were people at the bar, so it might be possible to experience 71Above for drinks.More info71AbovePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoOur party of 4 had a great experience. Ea couple ordered 1 x 5-course meal and we shared. All the dishes were amazing. Rib eye, Sushi, Cabbage side, Potato salad, sashimi etc. Particularly the deserts. Cheesecake and Bread pudding was 5 stars. The location was convenient to The Bellwether theatre.More infoMrs. FishPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBest bahn mi I’ve ever had. We also very much enjoyed the shaky shaky beef with tomato rice and short rib with bone marrow and baguette. The crispy spring roll was also very meaty. Service was very good - food comes out as ready which works well for the family style set up. Wouldn’t work as well if people are trying to order personal entrees. Special mention for sever Alexandrea who took special care in packing our leftovers even taking time to separately package the remaining bone marrow and baguette from the short rib stew so it wouldn’t get soggy or lost in to the stew.More infoLittle Sister - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Southeast Asian• Downtown•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was a nice brisk morning, air was fresh, and the view was amazing! From the moment you step into the building, you see the rich art 1920s architecture. We were seated immediately; our server Javier was very patient, attentive and efficient. When we arrived for early brunch, it was still pretty cool so he offered us some blankets which my Jamaican family appreciated. Food was a nice mixture of French and Californian cuisine. I also loved that the other patrons were diverse backgrounds, as were the hosts/servers. We were going to a hike by the Hollywood Lake Park, so initially we were worried you had to dress formally, it was less formal for bunch. You got to connect with the people you came with and enjoy the ambience and food. We really enjoyed it! It was a quintessential Californian experience!More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6

The food was interesting, delicious, and really felt like fusion comfort food. The desserts were to die for and the drinks were 10/10. Great for a birthday!More infoJoycePrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.6

From the micro-Seoul of Koreatown to unexpected fusion cuisines (take Chinese-Mexican, for one) and strip malls that house destination restaurants, the city’s restaurant scene is notably experimental and diverse.
