First time at this hotel. Stayed on the Hilton Honours floor, not sure if there is any difference to the other floors. A good size room, very clean and very very quiet. Nice to have a fridge in the room. A good view of the American Falls. Close to all attractions A nice touch on check in is a warm cookie each. Apart from the bar in the restaurant we didn't get to use the facilities. A Bar in the lobby would be nice to be able to relax and have a drink. Plenty of parking

Your comments are appreciated. The honors floors have beautiful views for our honors guests to enjoy. Thank you for letting others know of your experience. We actually have two bars located on property. One bar is located in our Buchanans Chophouse on the second floor and the other lounge area is located with the coffee pub in the main lobby. It is always nice to see guests enjoying a drink while relaxing in front of the fireplace during the winter months. We also have a seasonal outdoor patio with the coffee pub. I do hope you get a chance to visit us again.

We stayed for a few days as a late March break get away. Being a family of six it is usually difficult to find a place that fits all of us in one room for a reasonable price. Well, I have always wanted to try the Double Tree and was lucky enough to get a great rate.
We were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff and to the kids delight, freshly baked cookies. The room was great for us but as it is set up as two rooms (a bedroom and living room) separated by a hallway, there were some traffic jams with people going from room to room and someone coming out of the bathroom. The beds were comfortable as any other Hilton hotel and clean.
The kids enjoyed the pool and the hotel as a whole was quite beautiful. Would definitely visit again.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. The two room suites are definitely the way to go when travelling with the family. The separate living room with the pullout sofa provides extra space and some privacy. There are windows all around to see the many sights of Niagara Falls. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a hockey tournament down in Fort Erie. Parking is $13 per night as an FYI. Check in was smooth and they gave us our 2 cookies! I stayed at the property last year for the same reason and we really enjoyed the room. I prefer to stay at Hilton because of there beds and modern rooms. I was disappointed with my stay. We were on the 3rd floor but paid $109 per night instead of the $130 posted rate. Why the difference you ask? Beds are twins and did not seem as comfortable as last years stay. If your looking for a view then avoid the 3rd floor at all costs. To us it didn't matter. The bathroom had hair in all corners of it which was disappointing. I noticed that once we got into the room. We checked in, put our stuff down and left for our game so I didn't have time to care at that time. The next day housekeeping did clean up our room but did not clean up the hair in the corners of the bathroom. Management should maybe bring that up wit the staff to be more mindful. You will have a bit of walk to anything from this property so be prepared to pay cab fair if walking isn't your thing. Next year I think I may try a different property as the beds did not seem comfortable at all for me and the cleanliness was not there in the bathroom floor. I'd expect that at a hotel charging $60 a night.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and I apologize for any failures on our part. We have circled back to housekeeping to ensure retraining to prevent a reoccurence. Also note, while the life expectancy of our bedding is not at the end, we have started and are 75% complete replacing all bed sets in the hotel. Due to logistics, we had to stop for winter weather but are begining again this month and should be completed soon. Hope to restore your faith in DoubleTree when next in the area.

Very clean and quiet, professional and courteous staff, beautiful lobby. Great value for the money. Located about 10 minutes from Clifton Hill, about halfway between the two casinos, and also a short walk from the Falls.

This hotel is a must stay for so many reasons! The location and accommodations are fantastic and the service not only lives up to but exceeds the Hilton Hotel chain standards! The cleanliness was superb but the warmth of the staff was not only welcoming but made you feel like home. The delicious warm chocolate chip cookies were just a bonus!

My husband, I and our two sons spent a night here during March Break. The price was excellent for a two room suite. Decor of the hotel itself and especially the service we received was worth it's value compared to other hotels we have stayed at in "The Falls" especially those with waterparks. The pool was perfect for a quick swim and the hot tub temperature was perfect too. The morning of our check out they did run out of towels so we didn't have any to use but it seemed like everyone was trying to get their last swim in before checkout. Not a deal breaker for us! The beds were comfortable. The sheets were over starched and felt like paper but clean! It was nice to have on site parking even if you have to pay $13. We walked to Clifton Hill and it was only 10 minutes. The convenience alone is worth the parking fee and given that the room rate is such a reasonable cost....( we booked online directly with the hotel), it really didn't bother us since we knew about it in advance. The cookies are a nice touch. We had no need to speak to staff at the hotel except during our check in and check out. They were very cordial and pleasant.

i really liked double tree hotel the service is great and i really like that there is a pool spa and restaurant. we came last year and the service was great but this year the receptionist was not very friendly when wanting to book directly from the hotel. Apart from that me and my family enjoyed it a lot and would like to come again.

Stayed here for one night (March 20, 2015). We paid an extra $10 for the falls view (American Falls). The lobby is inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. It reminded me of some historic lodges in the U.S.
The furnishings, linens and décor were in perfect condition. Our room had two queen beds, an accent chair and desk/chair. There was a mini fridge, beverage area (incl. coffee maker) and iron. The room was spacious. The shower head could be adjusted to change the water flow. Small sections of the windows could be tipped open for fresh air. We visited here at the end of March break and there were many families with children in the hotel. We heard no noise from other rooms when we were in ours. The hotel has an indoor pool and spa services. A parking fee of $13 is charged.
We were given a room on the 16th floor (there are 19 in total), The view was good. More interesting than on the other side of the hotel. It took us approximately 10 minutes to walk to the viewing area for the American Falls. The Skylon Tower and IMAX theatre are close by. The Skywheel and Clifton Hill are less than a 15 minute walk in the other direction.
It was a really comfortable stay and we would return.

Our hotel is inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and the goal was to help our guests feel relaxed from the time they enter the lobby until the time they checkout. The large fireplace in the lobby attracts many travelers after a long day of sightseeing. The pool, whirlpool, sauna and spa are just some of the other ways our guests find relaxation. The hotel has very impressive look and interior, The king rooms are nice with a seperate sitting area. You need to be on the higher floors to get a view. And even the it is limited, I think in the summer it would be worse because the tree.

We just returned from our stay at the Double Tree Resort Niagara Falls.This was a lovely Hotel and found it to be the best one from all the hotels in Niagara Falls so far.The front desk was always polite, friendly and helpful.Our room on the 16th floor was imaculate.Our room was very clean and the views of the falls were incredible....The manager at this resort really cares about customer care and the staff at this hotel are always helpful.My kids enjoyed the pools and the cookies that are given daily this was a delicious treat for them.I am an independent travel agent who actually went there not only for businesses but pleasure and exedeed my expectations. Thank you once again to the manager for our pleasant stay as we will definitely return here and make this our mark when we return to the Falls.....there are no bad comments here only positive remarks on my end. Hi, yes we have a microwave in our guest pantry that is available 24 hours with the guest key.
I am Hilton Honors. Only perk at this Doubletree Niagara Falls was 2 bottles of water and 2 cookies at checkin. No free breakfast buffet or breakfast voucher.
Hello. If you are referencing the VIA Rail station in Niagara Falls, Ontario - Canadian side, that would be about a 12 minute taxi ride, cost would be about $15 or so. The official Amtrack Station is on the American Side. I would suggest google maps - with the station exact address to confirm what side of the border. If it is in the USA, I would suggest a taxi to the Rainbow Bridge and then walking across and taxi to the hotel. Less than $10 once you arrive into Canada.
