The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Nashville Airport receives high marks for its amenities, including keyless entry and shuttle services, and many guests appreciate the comfort of the clean, well-stocked rooms. However, opinions on the rooms' conditions are divided, with some pointing out the need for renovations. The cleanliness of the hotel earns consistent praise, as does the friendly and prompt service from the staff. Guests enjoy the spacious and inviting atmosphere, but the value for money receives mixed reviews due to concerns about additional fees for parking and breakfast.

Great little bar in this place with outstanding simple menu - we had the quesadillas and the chef paid attention grilling all ingredients to perfection resulting in the best quesadillas my wife and I ever had. I know it’s a simple dish but the attention to detail made it.

We are a family of four and stayed in the Music City Suite…clearly was not designed as a bedroom originally.
Pros:
Hotel is relatively renovated and clean
Bar/breakfast staff is friendly and generally tries
Parking is listed as $10 per night but was free
Well insulated/quiet even with tons of kids in the hotel
Location was very good
Pool area was good
Room had micro and fridge (I post because room amenities were hard to determine online)
Cons:
Cleaning was so so
Water pressure is abysmal at best- has two temperatures melt your skin off and cold
Coffee bar is one of the worst I’ve seen (usually empty, cold coffee)
Breakfast (that they charge for if you aren’t gold/or above even if you purchased it as part of the room?) is continental serve yourself (except key features like drinks and silverware). Was always near empty, and lackluster. If you have to pay, don’t. If it’s included don’t expect much but enough to get you through the morning if you like cereal without bowls, waffles without silverware, oatmeal, grits…
Our “suite” had non existent windows so it was very dark
Bed were uncomfortable
Pull out couch was the worst I’ve ever seen/felt kids were more comfortable on the floor with blankets
Had to ask for more towels, bedding and pillows despite registering 4 guests room only had amenities for 2 (maybe a COVId thing since only 1 bed and a pull out couch?)
Bar kitchen closes from 2-5 … this is generally when we wanted snacks/were hanging out at pool. And the food wasn’t good enough to eat real food.
Front desk store could’ve been a vending machine for all that they had.

Finally Hilton could really use to work on their app/website to properly describe rooms, restaurants, hours for things like pool, bar, breakfast and restaurant that they say they have but don’t anymore … also because my kids kept asking please stop advertising your “famous” chocolate chip cookies that are only given if you check in at the desk (no one does that anymore do they?)

Again, Hilton properties come through. This DoubleTree Suites/Nashville was very clean, responsibly aware of social distancing, courteous and really appreciates its guests. Vence and the young lady serving breakfast and dinner last night were especially attentive and super nice. Next trip to Nashville and I’ll be staying here for sure.

I only give 1 for friendly staff, other than that it’s a no. My family and I stayed here 4/2/21-4/10/21. Room could have been cleaner, including beds which I did find stands of other ppls hair. Which is the reason why I always bring my own sanitizing cleaners, even though they put a sealing on the door... to me doesn’t mean anything, until I inspect it myself. Things were broken in our room, like the microwave. The fleece blankets had cigarette burn holes in them, even the ones at the front desk; so they had to give me another white comforter. Then the a/c unit stopped working. So I had to report the issue to the front desk, and we were moved to another room, which was about the same as the last, just a/c worked. The desk chair had seen better days, the couch cushions were stained, light on the vanity was blown, the sink drain that lets up and dwn was broken. They have a washer and dryer, I which wanted to use just so wouldn’t have to do laundry when we returned home from our trip; of course you have to pay to use them. The dryer wouldn’t work, it took my money. I had to go to the front desk, where I was given the amount it took, and then they have to reset it. Let’s just this place needs a lot of work. It’s old, things need to be replaced, and updated badly, and house keeping needs work tremendously. Thank god they discounted our stay by one day. It still was worth it. When your spending a lil over $900 somewhere it supposed to be worth it. It was disappointing, but I sucked it up for my kids, cause this was their Easter and springbreak, and we were here sightseeing, because we plan on moving here in like a year. I think the only thing that made this stay easier was not being here in the day and only being here at night.

Picture was taken walking up stairs from the lobby.
Should’ve taken more, but it just would’ve made me even more irritated.

Thank you for your review of your recent experience at our hotel. I am sorry that your extended stay here did not meet your expectations and I apologize that you encountered an unacceptable level of service and condition. . We do our best to make sure all of our guests have a rewarding stay. We are directly addressing the concerns you had including housekeeping and furniture condition to insure they are resolved. What you experienced is clearly not our standard and this is being addressed with a capital replacement of desk chairs, sofas and dryer in this fiscal year. We are also addressing training with our new hires and reinforcement of our standards and processes with department managers. We do appreciate your feedback as it helps us continually improve our service delivery an hope that you might give us a second chance in the future,

I came here with my wife for a weekend getaway.. Let me say that the staff at the hotel overall were very nice. That was about the only thing that left a lasting impression. Was explained that parking was not free even though on hotels.com stated it was. After some back and forth we were awarded free of charge parking. We checked in and our room smelled musty, a towel was in the fridge and left opened. Went back up front, got a different room no questions asked, second room was overall clean but some of the walls had some kind of residue on it. At this point I didn't want to complain even more so just bit the bullet. Second room had a completely different config than the first one. First one was laid out nicer and was nicer in general.

Left for the day to explore Nashville to come back in the evening and the lobby was full of buckets, apparently when it rains the hotel takes on water.. ALOT!! What limited seating that is available by the bar was taped off and buckets in its place.

Pool was closed (it's all tore up) so if you plan on using the pool, good luck and find another place with a pool. The paid buffet breakfast was "ok", coffee was cold (hard to mess that up). I'd travel further out if you want a decent breakfast.

Stayed for work. This is an older common style Double Tree but has been updated nicely. The pool area is under a total restoration. This caused a lot of construction noise during the day. Breakfasts were pretty good for a buffet. I ate one dinner at the hotel because I worked very late and I was pleasantly surprised on the quality and price. Service from the front desk, restaurant, and bar were superior. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I am NOT a fan of the fees to park here. This is not a downtown hotel. I appreciate the secured parking but I don't think we should have to pay for it.

Horrible! Dated hotel, needs major renovation. Upon entering our room we were greeted with an overwhelming urine smell. It seemed to be mainly in the living room area that is separated by doors so at least we didn’t have to smell out while we slept (therefore I’m assuming the couch & that area had been urinated on in the past). There were ants on the nightstand. We didn’t have any food in the room and if we did bring any in we made sure it was sealed & all food trash went to outside trash areas. There was a stain of some sort that resembled feces outside the bathroom door (I did not investigate further to try to find out exactly what it was). On premises parking was $14/night which is a joke. It’s not secured not monitored. Breakfast is NOT complementary, not even the coffee! But it is Continental. I did receive a 25% discount upon checkout when I mentioned my displeasure but honestly they should have paid ME to stay there! I was suppose to receive a follow up with hotel management but have yet to hear from them (stayed 5/7/23)

The morning breakfast service was the standout star of the stay at Doubletree this weekend. Everton behind the bar was incredibly accommodating, and made certain every need was met. Vence was extremely helpful inside the cafe/buffet area and assisted with anything required while offering to make certain there was no shortage of anything for each and every one of us. After sitting down Snake was extremely prompt in making certain everything was cleared and bringing anything over to be sure we never even had to stand up. This staff is amazing and they deserve all the recognition that made what would have been an otherwise standard stay outstanding.

Wow, so the stay started out ok. When I checked in the gentleman at the front desk told me I may not have hot water for an hour or two because they were changing out the boiler. I didn’t think much of it because it was 3 in the afternoon and I had some things to do. I went out and completed my errands and had a fun night in downtown Nashville, and arrived back around 9:30. Went to sleep and got up the next morning and went to take a shower and there was no hot water. I called the front desk to ask about it and was informed it wasn’t working and she had been cussed out by numerous guests already. I feel bad for her, but the management of this hotel property is terrible. The guests should have been informed that the hot water wasn’t fixed and been offered a room at another nearby Hilton property (there is one just a few blocks away). Terribly disappointed in this stay.

The room wasn’t that clean, the couch was stained, and furniture outdated. Other than to sleep, it’s not the best option. Also, complimentary breakfast is only for Hilton Honors members that have enough accumulated points. There was someone checking a list to see if your name was on it and if it wasn’t, you had to pay $12.99 per person for breakfast. I’m sure Nashville has much better options when it comes to hotels.

We have two elevators. The front elevator is across the lobby from the front desk and is the most convenient. Be sure and request a room near the front elevator (rooms numbered higher than 240 or 340). The second elevator is at the back corner of the hotel and is a long walk. We do have digital keys here which you can access from the app on your phone. You can check in on your phone and you can select your room and use your phone as the key to your room and avoid the desk altogether.
