Momma,
Happy Birthday, Momma. You are physically gone from this earth but I feel your presence in my life constantly. I miss you every time I have juicy gossip or someone hurts my feelings. I miss you when I have good, bad and otherwise news about work, love life or just to get your take on how handle a situation. I really miss hearing your voice. I always loved the sound of your voice it always instantly made me feel like everything was going to be alright. The last conversation we had, you were in the hospital and very sick but you always made me feel like it was never as bad as it seemed. It was hard seeing in your last day's ma, I think it will be the hardest situation I will have to deal with in my life. We are all dealing with the void that your passing has left to our family; it just doesn't feel right that you're not here. I know what you expect from me and I will always continue to look out for everyone the best I can momma , I will still talk mess and say what I'm not going to do but you know I will, mostly because you would want me too. Rest Momma, you fought a good fight, you were a great Mother to us even when we fell short as your children, you loved us unconditionally. I'm glad I always said I love you at the end of most of our conversations. I will see you in my dreams and one day we will all be together again.
Love,
Your child that's somewhere in the middle…..Cynthia

I would be lying if I said that losing you was not the absolute hardest thing that I've ever had to do. Nevertheless, the inheritance of your strength has allowed me to master shielding my mental agony from those who are less capable of maintaining emotionally without you. Though it devastates me beyond expression that you have departed this world leaving shoes that are impossible to fill, I'll have you know that as I bring forth this life within me I will do what it takes to find and fill a pair of my own. You are now and always have been my angel. I love you Grammy. May you rest peacefully.
