Lucy Mangan Guardian Looks like Sesame Street and plays like David Lynch. Rated: 4/5 Sep 28, 2022 Full Review Toussaint Egan Polygon Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared could be described as the demented British half-cousin of Sesame Street.. albeit less politically charged than the latter and more focused on taking a sledgehammer to the standard of children's educational television. Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Daniel Goldstraw Cultured Vultures This revival of the cult web series retains all the same sense of style and macabre sense of humour as the originals, and is a must-watch for fans of dark and surreal comedy. Bryce G I use to be afraid of this, but now I see it as a well done and hilarious satire of most topics will being dark at the same time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Audience Member Maybe I just don't get it, but to me it was kind of boring and frustrating. The characters have absolutely no clue about preschool-level concepts like friendship, death, and electricity. Then it goes on to get "dark" but I feel like it was lazily done and it's just dark for the sake of being dark. There's really no plot, no character development, and everything resets for the characters at the end of the episode. I'm also not a preschooler, so I don't need to be learning about these concepts which take up a large portion of the episode. I will however say that the show has really amazing art and blends different mediums well. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Logan Most underrated TV show of the past decade. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review reviewer The YouTube shorts were amazing! They did a good job at parodying kids shows and had the perfect combination of humor and eeriness. This new series on the other hand is horrendously unfunny and flat out stupid. Just a bunch of drawn out, random nonsense. Looking back at the original pilot sketch (from the Sundance Film Festival), I am severely disappointed by the squandered potential this show had. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Teddy B A creative, insightful, frightening, surreal, hilarious, surreal, and excellent series that stands (as both a YouTube series and a television series) on only the highest pedestal of quality. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review Samuel D Must see for horror fans and puppet fans alike. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
