This novel is only available as an audiobook and follows Asajj Ventress as she is recruited by Count Dooku, shortly before the events of ATTACK OF THE CLONES. However, a large majority of the novel is spent decades before as we learn more about Dooku and his past.

Written by acclaimed Star Wars author Claudia Gray, this novel will further explore the relationship between Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they embark on a dangerous mission for the Jedi. Exact timeline is unknown, but it is confirmed to take place before the events of THE PHANTOM MENACE.

Beloved author Timothy Zahn explores the origins of his infamous Chiss mastermind, Thrawn, as he is dispatched by the Ascendancy to investigate an attack on the Chiss capital.

The first of the prequel trilogy, THE PHANTOM MENACE follows two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, as they help the Queen of Naboo, Padmé Amidala, free her planet from the greedy Trade Federation. Along the way, they discover a special boy named Anakin Skywalker whom Qui-Gon wishes to train in the Force as a Jedi Knight.

This comic series focuses on the training of young Anakin shortly after Obi-Wan has taken him as his apprentice. Three years after the events of THE PHANTOM MENACE, Master and Padawan are sent on a mission to a remote planet, where they will both be pushed and tested to their limits.

This novel follows Padmé following her reign as Queen of Naboo. After accepting the newly elected queen’s request that she serve as Naboo’s senator, Padmé must learn the treacherous waters of politics. Exact time period is unknown, but it is set between THE PHANTOM MENACE and ATTACK OF THE CLONES.

ATTACK OF THE CLONES is set 10 years after THE PHANTOM MENACE, Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers the creation of a massive clone army for the Galactic Republic while Anakin Skywalker & Padmé Amidala begin to develop feelings for one another. With the help of the Republic’s new clone army and the Jedi army, the trio gets caught up in a massive battle against the Separatists led by Count Dooku.

Shortly after the start of the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Mace Windu finds himself in a new role as he leads a small unit of Jedi into battle.

This animated film serves as an introduction to the television series of the same name. Familiar heroes from ATTACK OF THE CLONES return here as the Republic and the new clone army battle against the Separatists led by Count Dooku. We are also introduced to some new key characters, including a new Jedi apprentice named Ashoka.

This television series spans six seasons and follows the events of the animated film, THE CLONE WARS. Throughout the six seasons, we see what happens in the Clone Wars between ATTACK OF THE CLONES and REVENGE OF THE SITH. Anakin’s character is also more developed throughout the series.

Based on unproduced scripts from THE CLONE WARS, this novel follows popular characters Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos. The two must work together, despite their differences and complex feelings for one another, in a joint effort to destroy Count Dooku and bring an end to the Clone Wars.

THE CLONE WARS revealed that Darth Maul survived Obi-Wan’s attack in THE PHANTOM MENACE, but there was more to Maul’s story than was presented in the TV series. This comic series is based on unused CLONE WARS scripts, and is a continuation of Maul’s story as he struggles against his former master, Darth Sidious.

In REVENGE OF THE SITH, Anakin learns that Padmé is pregnant and begins suffering nightmarish visions of her death. Chancellor Palpatine, finally revealed as Darth Sidious, begins to tempt Anakin with the Dark Side of the Force, promising new powers that can save Padmé’s life. Anakin then begins his treacherous path to the Dark Side, betraying the Jedi Order and his mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This new Vader-centered series focuses on the Dark Lord immediately following his fall to the Dark Side as depicted in 2005’s REVENGE OF THE SITH. Haunted by the death of Padme and his newly sustained injuries, Vader must learn what it takes to really give himself to the Dark Side of the Force under his new master, Emperor Palpatine.

This junior novel series consists of six parts, each following young Milo and Lina Graf after their parents are kidnapped by the Galactic Empire.

This young adult novel explores the adventures of former Jedi Ahsoka Tano following her departure from the Jedi Order and the devastating Order 66 that eliminated most of the Jedi Knights. Struggling to find her place, Ahsoka finds herself compelled to continue fighting the atrocities of the Empire.

This series is comprised of six issues dealing with Kanan’s experiences before, during, and after Order 66, the order that resulted in the annihilation of the Jedi Order. Gain insight into Kanan’s character well before he appears in the TV series, REBELS.

Described as the must-have prequel to the standalone film ROGUE ONE, CATALYST introduces readers to Orson Krennic, a member of Chancellor Palpatine’s secret Death Star project, and the Erso family including Galen, a brilliant scientist; his wife, Lyra; and their young daughter, Jyn. After saving Galen and his family, Krennic offers Galen an opportunity to continue his research that will ultimately lead to the Death Star’s destructive power.

This YA novel will highlight the teenage years of Han Solo and Qi’ra as they grow up and try to survive the seedy streets of their home planet, Corellia. Exact year and placement of this story is unknown.

In this novel, the Imperials are fighting to gain control over the planet Ryloth. However, a group of freedom fighters plan to strike at the heart of the Empire when the Emperor and Darth Vader are shot down on the hostile planet. Now, the two Sith Lords must rely on each other to fight their way out of their dangerous situation.

Learn more about the notorious Grand Moff who was first introduced in A NEW HOPE in 1977. This novel explores Tarkin’s background and how he became one of the Emperor’s most trusted leaders alongside Darth Vader.

This collection includes both A NEW DAWN and TARKIN, and includes three all-new short stories that provide links and connections between the two novels.

A tie-in to the game JEDI: FALLEN ORDER, this comic series begins with Jedi Master Eno Cordova and his padawan as they must evacuate a mysterious temple on the planet of Ontotho, where the dangers are ever-present.

In this upcoming game, announced at E3, gamers can play as a surviving Jedi during the Imperial Era, shortly after Order 66 and the events of REVENGE OF THE SITH.

Following the death of her mother and the abduction of her father, Jyn falls under the care of radical rebel fighter Saw Gerrera, who teaches her the skills needed to effectively fight the Empire. However, fighting alongside Saw causes Jyn to question how far she is willing to go for both the man and the cause.

This novel will cover different eras in the lives of Han & Lando beginning with their relationship prior to the events of SOLO, as well as the time period between the new movie and A NEW HOPE. The third era will cover events after RETURN OF THE JEDI and will include a very young Ben Solo.

This 5-issue comic series covers an event, featuring Lando and his sidekick droid L3-37, that leads directly into SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY.

With this comic series, follow Han Solo during his brief career as an Imperial cadet. With dreams of becoming a pilot and return to rescue Qi’ra, Solo soon realizes he may not even make it past basic training.

Part of the FLIGHT OF THE FALCON series of comics & novels, this junior novel sees Lando and L3-37 make amends to the Empire after a smuggling scheme goes south.

Ewan McGregor will reprise his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in this new series for Disney+, set 8 years after he left infant Luke in the care of the Lars family at the end of REVENGE OF THE SITH. Famed author Timothy Zahn finally gets to bring his iconic character into official STAR WARS canon with the release of the new novel THRAWN. The novel will chronicle the character’s early days in the Empire as he rises through the ranks to become a Grand Admiral. The exact setting of the novel is still unknown.

This novel serves as a prequel to the animated series REBELS. It follows former Jedi Kanan as he tries to survive in a galaxy where the Jedi Order is all but extinct. But when the Empire attacks someone close to Kanan, he must choose whether to flee or stand and fight.

This novel is particularly unique, in that it begins before the events of A NEW HOPE and spans beyond the conclusion of RETURN OF THE JEDI. The story follows two childhood friends who join the Empire and fall in love, but they are torn apart by their allegiances after one defects to the Rebel Alliance while the other remains fiercely loyal to the Empire.

This anthology film explores the origins of the infamous smuggler roughly ten years before he met Luke and Leia in A NEW HOPE. The story will also explore how Han and Chewie came to be companions. SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY is directed by Ron Howard and set for release May 2018. Be sure to check back for more confirmed details as they are revealed.

This junior novel series ties into the animated series REBELS and follows aspiring Imperial Zare Leonis as he uncovers a plot to destroy his home planet of Lothal, a plan that will challenge his allegiance to the Empire.

Another junior novel that leads into the animated series REBELS, the story follows young Ezra Bridger as he teams with notorious bounty hunter Bossk in a chase against a fleet of stormtroopers.

This animated series follows a group of young Rebels, led by Jedi Knight Kanan, who seek to disrupt the Empire’s dealings. Together, they will encounter new friends and villains as well as some familiar ones.

Baze and Chirrut, once Guardians of the Whills and protectors of the Kyber Temple on the planet Jedha, must find a way to fight the tyranny of the Empire after its occupation of the planet. When Saw Gerrera arrives with ambitious plans to bring down the Empire, Baze and Chirrut readily join the cause. Exact placement in the STAR WARS timeline is still unknown. Check back for updates.

Set before the events of ROGUE ONE, this live-action series will see Diego Luna reprise his role of Cassian Andor. Described as a rousing spy thriller, the series will follow Cassian on daring Rebel missions in the fight against the Empire. A release date has yet to be announced, but production is expected to start in 2019.

In this young adult novel, author Claudia Gray explores Leia’s transition from child to adult as a young member of the Rebel Alliance. Set on Leia’s 16th birthday, the story follows our famous princess as she discovers that her parents are secretly involved in plotting against Emperor Palpatine and his Imperial hold on the galaxy.

Set before the finale of REBELS, the third Thrawn novel sees the titular leader’s loyalty to the Empire tested upon learning dire warnings about his homeworld.

This comic series follows Princess Leia immediately following the events of A NEW HOPE. Leia struggles to deal with the destruction of her home world while also continuing her resolve to help the Rebellion. Consequently, she sets out to rescue those who have survived Imperial attacks.

This comic series further develops the character of Darth Vader following the destruction of the Death Star in A NEW HOPE. Discover what happens to the most feared figure in the galaxy, from the time his ship spirals out of control away from the Death Star to his first appearance aboard the Super Star Destroyer in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

This novel is set after the destruction of the Death Star and follows Luke, who has become a valuable asset to the Rebel Alliance. When the Rebels learn of a gifted cryptographer being forced to work for the Empire, they send Luke on a daring mission to rescue her from the Empire’s clutches so that she may be useful in the Rebellion’s cause. As opposed to focusing on one character from A NEW HOPE, this large comic series follows the adventures of all your favorite original trilogy characters, including: Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, R2-D2, and C-3PO. Get to know what each character has been up to before they show up again in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

This 5-part comic series centers on everyone’s favorite Wookie, Chewbacca. After the events of A NEW HOPE, Chewie finds himself stranded on a planet during a mission for the Rebel Alliance. With the help of a friend, Chewie must battle Imperials as he attempts to escape the planet and complete his mission.

This comic series is unique in that it crosses over with the DARTH VADER series and the MARVEL STAR WARS series. In VADER DOWN, Vader finds himself going up against the entire Rebel Alliance, including characters from other comic series.

Have you ever wondered what Lando Calrissian was up to before he became the Baron Administrator of Cloud City? This comic series explores the events that lead Lando to Cloud City where Han and Leia ultimately find him in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

First introduced in the DARTH VADER comic series, Doctor Aphra gets her own comic series. Forced into hiding from Darth Vader, the morally shady archaeologist is trying to find her way back into archaeology despite her enormous debts, while also tracking down those who trained and tortured Black Krrsantan.

A crossover between the MARVEL’S STAR WARS and DOCTOR APHRA series, this comic pairs Luke Skywalker with the rogue archaeologist as they embark on a mission to the heart of the notorious Screaming Citadel.

This junior novel is set shortly after A NEW HOPE and follows Luke Skywalker, now celebrated as a hero among the Rebels. Luke continues to listen and be inspired by the Force, which he must use if he is to save a young girl on a strange planet. There, Luke must also face a new enemy known as Sarco Plank.

Set between A NEW HOPE and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, this junior novel follows Han Solo and Chewie as they are sent on a secret mission for the Rebel Alliance, all while being hunted down by merciless bounty hunters and a fierce Imperial agent.

This junior novel follows the devastating events of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, in which Princess Leia must lead a group of Rebels on a dangerous decoy mission as she continues to fight against the same Empire that is relentlessly hunting her down.

In RETURN OF THE JEDI, Luke and Leia travel to Tatooine and free Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. The trio then regroups with the Rebel Alliance as they plan an attack on the Empire that will cripple it for good. However, Luke recognizes that he must leave his friends and face his father, Darth Vader, and try to redeem him from the Emperor’s powerful hold.

In order to put an end to the war once and for all, five former Rebel pilots, each with their own spacecraft, work to strike out the last vestiges of the Empire. This will be the first novel of a planned trilogy by Alexander Freed.

This comic series serves as a companion piece to Alexander Freed’s ALPHABET SQUADRON trilogy. Set at the same time as those novels, this series follows the other side of the conflict with an elite unit of Imperial TIE Fighter pilots known as Shadow Wing.

The single-player story campaign of this highly anticipated game will predominantly follow Iden Versio, leader of the Imperial Special Forces unit known as Inferno Squad, as she and her team avenge the Emperor. The story will span 30 years and feature many fan favorite characters, old and new.

In this comic series, though the Emperor, Darth Vader, and the second Death Star have all been destroyed, the Empire still holds control over many star systems throughout the galaxy. The Rebel Alliance soon discovers that the war is far from over and that a leaderless Empire may be more unstable and unpredictable than ever before.

This novel also takes place after RETURN OF THE JEDI, and tells the story of surviving Imperial leaders as they attempt to regroup and plan a counterattack against the Rebel Alliance, who now call themselves the New Republic. The Imperial leaders are thwarted by some locals as the New Republic fleet arrives to hunt down remaining Imperials.

LIFE DEBT follows Norra Wexley and her team as they embark on a mission to rescue Han Solo and Chewie after they disappear in the attempt to free the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk. Meanwhile, Grand Admiral Rae Sloane fights to take control of the broken Imperial forces.

EMPIRE’S END will conclude Chuck Wendig’s AFTERMATH trilogy and will feature the climactic Battle of Jakku, which marks the end of the Galactic Civil War and the Empire.

Set after the Battle of Endor in RETURN OF THE JEDI, this mobile game focuses on the Empire’s reaction as it tries to lock down the Anoat sector. Those within the sector, including freedom fighters, smugglers, and bounty hunters, must band together to create an uprising against the Empire’s tight grip.

Set some years after the fall of the Empire in RETURN OF THE JEDI, this live-action TV series from Jon Favreau will follow a new Mandalorian character in the vein of Jango and Boba Fett. THE MANDALORIAN will see this lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

This novel, set just a few years before THE FORCE AWAKENS, follows Senator Leia Organa as she fights to defend the New Republic Senate from threats both within and outside the Republic. When the galaxy learns the shocking truth of Leia’s true parentage, she must find her place within the New Republic she fought so hard to establish.

This middle grade novel opens up the Star Wars universe with two stories set on Batuu (where Disney Parks’ Galaxy’s Edge is set) as well as other stories, myths, and fables from the far reaches of the galaxy. *Exact timeline placement is unknown and likely to span decades.*

In PHASMA, author Delilah S. Dawson will explore the backstory of the First Order captain leading up to the events of THE FORCE AWAKENS. Once more details are confirmed, we’ll place the novel in the correct position on the timeline.

From REBELS creator Dave Filoni comes a new anime-inspired television series, which follows a group of Resistance fighters who are tasked with investigating the growing threat of the First Order in the years leading up to THE FORCE AWAKENS. RESISTANCE debuts in Fall 2018.

This single issue comic explores the origins behind C-3PO’s red arm, which was first seen in THE FORCE AWAKENS.

This ongoing comic series follows Resistance pilot, Poe Dameron, before we first see him in THE FORCE AWAKENS. The story also dives into his relationship with the droid BB-8, and the Resistance’s struggle to fight off the First Order.

This junior novel focuses on the lives of Finn (or FN-2187 as he was known in the First Order), Rey, and Poe Dameron before their paths crossed in THE FORCE AWAKENS. The novel offers more insight into these characters’ backgrounds before their lives are forever changed.

“Perfect Weapon” is a short story by Delilah S. Dawson and features a mercenary named Bazine Netal, who has a brief appearance in THE FORCE AWAKENS at Maz’s cantina. This story covers a previous mission of Bazine’s leading up to THE FORCE AWAKENS.

THE FORCE AWAKENS is set 30 years after RETURN OF THE JEDI as we are introduced to Rey and Finn who team up with Han Solo in an attempt to find the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker. The ruthless First Order, led by Supreme Leader Snoke and the mysterious Kylo Ren, is also desperate to find Luke in the attempt to rid the galaxy of the last remaining Jedi.

This YA novel follows two best friends, Izzy and Jules, on the Galaxy Edge planet of Batuu. When Izzy returns to Batuu after leaving as a child, Jules is unsure he knows her anymore. But the two must discover who they are as they run from smugglers and pirates.

In Volume 1 of TALES FROM A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY, readers can explore the galaxy by getting to know a variety of different aliens featured in THE FORCE AWAKENS with this collection of six short stories.

This comic series will explore what happened to the intimidating First Order captain following the destruction of Star Killer base as seen in THE FORCE AWAKENS.

This junior novel tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a cargo ship to Canto Bight who exchange stories about the legendary Luke Skywalker. Are these stories true or embellished from myth and tall tales? Some may even be confirmed as one or the other once THE LAST JEDI hits theaters.

This novella contains a collection of short stories revolving around characters in the decadent casino city of Canto Bight. These characters will introduce audiences to the danger and intrigue of the lavish city before its appearance in THE LAST JEDI.

The junior novel COBALT SQUADRON introduces new characters from the Resistance, including Rose Tico who appears in THE LAST JEDI. Follow these characters in an all new adventure.

In this one-shot comic, the mysterious DJ is explored a bit more before we see him cross paths with Finn and Rose in THE LAST JEDI.

In THE LAST JEDI, the Skywalker saga continues as Leia leads a daring escape from the grasp of the FIRST ORDER. Meanwhile, Rey must convince the now reclusive Luke Skywalker to be the spark of hope the Resistance surely needs as Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke threaten to seize control of the galaxy. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is written & directed by Rian Johnson.

This novel ties in to the new Disney Parks attraction, GALAXY’S EDGE, introducing the outpost known as Black Spire on the planet of Batuu. In the novel, General Leia Organa dispatches her top spy to Batuu in a desperate search for Resistance allies before they are discovered by the First Order.

The series’ overarching story is set following THE LAST JEDI, when the militant First Order arrives at the Black Spire outpost on Batuu, but stories from the past will also be told in the series. This comic series will prepare readers for the new theme park attractions opening in Disneyland and Disney World in 2019.

In the aftermath of THE LAST JEDI, Leia, Poe, Rey, and Finn must work together to rebuild the Resistance for the next fight against the First Order.

In this comic series, General Leia Organa must reach out to former allies, the Mon Calamari, whose shipyards were once a great asset to the Rebel Alliance.

This film will follow the events of THE LAST JEDI and officially conclude the entire Skywalker saga, including the prequel and original trilogies. JJ Abrams will return to both direct and co-write the script with Chris Terrio. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2019. Check back again for more details as they are released.
