Arq. Ing. Lic. (abreviaturas de títulos)

Buenas tardes, quisiera saber si hay alguna forma oficial de traducir los títulos universitarios que se utilizan de manera abreviada antes del nombre:

Lic. (licenciado)
Arq. (arquitecto)
Ing. (Ingeniero)

Sé que en muchos casos se utiliza B.A. o B.S., pero no sé si éstos apliquen específicamente para los tres casos que mencioné anteriormente.

English doesn't have many abbreviations that are used before a person's name. The only example I can think of would be a doctor:

Dr. Smith (doctor)

Typically, a person's credentials/accolades/certifications appear after the name.

John Smith, M.D. (medical doctor)
John Smith, D.V.M. (doctor of veterinary medicine)
John Smith, C.P.A. (certified public accountant)

specifically, for the three titles you've mentioned above, there is no English equivalent for Arq. or Ing.

Lic. (licenciado) = John Smith, B.S.
Arq. (arquitecto) = John Smith
Ing. (Ingeniero) = John Smith

The above holds true UNLESS John Smith is an architect who has completed 8-12 years of university study. If a person attends a university and earns a B.A. and then earns an M.B.A., the next degree they would receive is a Ph.D. After receiving a Ph.D., John Smith would be a doctor of architecture.

He would then be called:

Dr. John Smith

John Smith, Ph.D.
