Thank you for reminding me of this noble man! I hear some voices of the past repeating, as if voices of today were still talking the same talk as back then through all these words. And it is a German talk above the english words, very German, yet still far away as if it would still take a many stands and a many wrong decisions until the talk would come clear enough to be obvious... I wonder if anyone who has an ear for such harsh talk can hear the same talk in there already, as well, and could tell in more clear words than I could. I feel as if my Autism sometimes causes me being demented for the words I should hear and would want to, but am held back by confusion so mighty that constantly drive me in circles about the hardships that are hinted by such words (at 11:17 "autist dement", I am autistic and am tormented constantly with the fear of being rendered into being demented by magic...and a forename I know as former psychological abuser and temptress of me I hear at 11:11). As a saying goes like "death is a master from Germany", and thus only the hardest saints would have dared to live in it's heart while it is season for a harvest death once again.
I'm thinking how today not only Germany is at the same stake that it had been once, but the whole world seems to be driven into the same danger as back then until today. Even Christianity is threatened to be driven into the hands of demagogues and propagandists twisting it to their own liking. Don't they know that the wrath of God would be upon them like it was upon the Nazis? Don't they ever learn?
Now decided, to soon read some books...but not the ones advertised in the video, I'll rather read some actual works of Bonnhoeffer. Even also to contemplate - what would make a man of God who is pacifist turn away from the values so greatly to support a murder plan against Hitler even, trying to trample that snake that could not be stopped with kindness and the truth any longer, before it's poison would make the rest of the world unable to believe in such values an more, as well. So the cost of discipleship is now on my to-read list...
