Very unfriendly staff, old slot machines and many of the same kind spread around, many broken machines, very tight slots with low returns. MotorCity use to be a lot of fun but it’s rather pathetic now.

had a reservation on Sunday, and with the PANDEMIC going on, I did not go. nonetheless my bank card was charged 50.00, when I phoned to try to RESOLVE this issue, I was combatted with PURE ATTITUDE from Tamika at the Hotel Service Desk, I simply STARTED to say, that with everything going on in the world so you think THIS is the best wayto handle things. and BEFORE I could finish my sentence I was RUDELY cut off by TAMIKA and her crass attitude, dispicable now the CASINO and staff are very nice, but this is NOT the first time the HOTEL staff has been horrific.. and I am certainly not the first person to get treated so poorly. With the amount of money they charge for the downright awful customer service they extend they should be FULLY ashamed of themselves, KARMA TOMIKA. KARMA

The Motor City Casino Hotel worked out perfectly for our Pistons and Red Wings weekend. The sports shuttle to the games was so handy and prompt. The hotel was immaculate and staff was so friendly.

If you are a chain smoker (or really like the odor of tobacco smoke permeating your clothes), this is the place for you. Maybe slots jammed so closely together that players often bump into each is your thing? Motor City has you fully covered. Do other casinos seem too tame and have you craving rude staff, dirty restrooms, public arguments, wholesale profanity and strangers hanging near you, staring intently and asking you for money? If so, Motor City is your kind of casino. Do you like headliner shows? Look elsewhere. Choices of good restaurants? Move on. Good value for money? A feeling of comfort and security? Maybe you want a pleasant night out? Motor City Casino is not your kind of place. I have been to all three of the Detroit casinos many times, always with other people. I have also been to Caesar's in Windsor, Ontario at least as many times and to casinos elsewhere in the U.S. Canada, Asia and Europe. Motor City ranks last for me. To each his own. This review is for the casino, not the hotel (which is quite nice).
