Demon Slayer Movie US Release Date Set for Theaters and Digital Copies

Funimation and Aniplex announced the US release date for the movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train. A new trailer confirms the film will hit US and Canadian theaters on April 23, 2021. Afterward, the film will release on select digital storefronts on June 22, 2021. There is also a new trailer.

The highest-grossing Japanese movie to date, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train will finally release in North American theaters in multiple formats. In addition to regular screenings, select theaters will also have IMAX and 4DX. The film will be available both subbed and dubbed, and tickets will go on sale starting on April 9, 2021. There’s also a promotional poster already.

As for the digital release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train, the movie will hit Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, the Microsoft Store, the PlayStation Store, and Vudu this year. Pre-orders will be available from April 26, 2021 on Apple TV, the Microsoft Store, and the PlayStation Store.

Aniplex uploaded the below trailer to its official YouTube channel to promote the movie’s release.

Additionally, a Blu-ray and DVD release of the movie will come to Japan in June 2021. There is even a limited edition that comes with extra goodies.

The release date for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train movie in US and Canadian theaters is April 23, 2021. The film will also come to select digital storefronts on June 22, 2021.
