About us
The Defence Academy delivers world-class professional defence and security education to students from the UK Armed Forces, Civil Service, industry and overseas.
The Defence Academy’s purpose is to develop the ‘intellectual edge’ needed to run successful government departments and military operations. The ‘intellectual edge’ is the ability to think better and faster than our adversaries, both now and in the future.
The Defence Academy trains and educates in:
- leadership and strategy
- information warfare, cyber and multi-domain integration
- capability, acquisition and business skills
- languages and international engagement
The Defence Academy has academic strategic partners in King’s College London and Cranfield University. The Defence Academy is part of the Ministry of Defence.
