This area becomes available after the heroes complete the Cellblock II mission and the Ashcroft Prison mission.
Now that the heroes have the security cameras up and running, they have located Devin (the other Wayward hunter) and the witch at the execution room. The need to stop whatever the witch and her cultists are doing.
Objective(s):
- Defeat the witch.
This area has a simple layout. The witch and most of her cultists are in the main room, where Devin is tied up next to the electric chair. There are also two side rooms, where more cultists are stationed. A STRENGTH GLYPH lies directly behind Devin, with an armor vest to his left. A medical kit is to one side of the execution platform, and a Conviction Glyph is to the other side. A Health Glyph is in one side room, and extra ammo can be found in the other side room. A shotgun lies in middle of main room.
Like the werewolf, the witch is not fun to deal with at close quarters. The heroes should keep backing away while firing at her with ranged weapons. Be sure to dodge to the sides to avoid any projectiles she shoots. If the heroes run out of ammo, they can kill the machinegun-wielding cultists who keep appearing for more.
The witch goes through two phases, depending on how much life she has remaining.
Phase 1 - The witch will fly around, throwing fireballs from a distance or swinging her big nasty scythe up close. She can also create shockwaves that can knock down the heroes or cast a spell that slows them down.
Phase 2 - When the witch's life drops to a quarter or so, she will stop flying and start running around on foot. At this point, she can also throw powerful lightning bolts.
Focus on killing the boss, not the regular bad guys. Once the witch dies, the heroes will automatically exit the area with Devin, so they should use that Strength Glyph before it's too late. They cannot revisit this area.
