Spent a few hours at this smallish casino. Win some, lose some. Employees don't seem to be too happy. Ok to visit for a couple of hours if you don't mind leaving some money behind. The players club doesn't really give you anything for playing. If you're not planning to visit the casino regularly, don't bother with a card.

Sunday check in was super late 5pm! Furthermore then we were kept waiting because our rooms were not ready. No discount for not being able to use the resort fee activities. Requested a non smoking room, clearly the room smelled of smoke with a deodorizer spray over it. Housekeeping only left us 1 package of coffee with 1 creamer. Seriously?
When I complained at the front desk, I was told we will let the housekeeping supervisor know. Gee thanks.

Room tip: If you have boat and prefer tile floors, ask for a Marina Room. Some updating but not new furniture for sure.

Really enjoyed our stay here! We had a ground floor room with a short walk to our boat slip Floating bars and restaurants were fun destination points as you floated up and down the Colorado River. The Blue Water's white exterior is breathtaking when you float back in the evening with blue neon lighting highlighting the architecture. They offered some fun perks. You have 2 chances to win some $100 to gamble with. Gambling is not my thing but I enjoyed the casino as it had a variety of machines but happily not too big as to be swallowed up by it. I happened to win $100 to gamble with and walked out with $120! We tried the buffet and the meat was salty and the desserts too sweet, so save your money and eat elsewhere. The rooms are basic but the bed was especially comfortable. The real treat is to have your boat safely docked not far from your room and to be able to just jump on and off in a moment's notice. Honestly, Parker as a town is dusty and unattractive so I didn't expect much but the action is along the Colorado River and the BlueWater Resort was an unexpected high point of our trip as a boater!

Have stayed here before and not what it was before....love the indoor pools and slides but pools all needed to be vacuumed there was dirt on the bottom of each of the pools. Resort charges a resort fee....for what....the sink in my room was not draining...had to complain twice about it even tho I was told when I first asked that they would be right up..maid service is awful...one day did not get done until after 4pm...coffee pot not cleaned , no cups or coffee , no toiletries, bed just thrown together, second day much better but had to ask twice to get it clean. Only restaurant that was good was the deli on the casino floor. Casino smelled SO SMOKEY when entering to check in needed better ventilation. Wakeboard island was great but would have done it each of three days I was there if it wasn't so pricey. Cantina on the bench was excessively hot inside, burger was just average and nachos very plain. You are playing for the location because the price is not worth it

Just wanted to support one of the write ups I read. Yes, this place is going down hill, the native greed factor is kicking in. I know a lot of people that work there and they are not to enthused about whats happening. They have practically cut all the comps to being non existent. The machines are very tight. The buffet is like a horse trough now. The Willow Room has the best food around, excellent service, very friendly staff. Never really had any problems with the rooms except to get one at the far ends is a long walk. I have wintered in Parker every year for the past 20 years so I think I can comment here.

Room tip: all ,the room come with a river view, fantastic.

My name is Dan Crites and I am the Director of Slot Operations at Bluewater Resort and Casino.

I read your review and want to thank you for taking the time to communicate with us. Needless to say I was concerned about what you had to say about our slot machines.

I wanted to let you know that our slot machines are highly regulated by three different agencies all of which check our machines on a regular basis to assure that they are working properly and set within the standards and policies of each agency. Those three agencies are: National Indian Gaming Commission which is a branch of the Department of the Interior, Arizona Department of Gaming and the Colorado River Indian Tribes Tribal Gaming Agency.

I want to assure you that we do abide with all tribal, state and federal regulations and that we have no control as to how the game will respond once a player pulls the handle or pushes the button on the game. These are standards that all Arizona casinos must abide by and do. Pure luck is the way the game is played and although you may have had a not so lucky day there were others who did and I do hope that you would come back and give us another try.

Additionally, comps for hotel rooms, food and beverage, and retail items are redeemed every day. I assure you, the reinvestment rate for our patrons is well within industry standards. There have been modifications to the way comps are redeemed, and I apologize if the perception of these rewards have been viewed in a negative way.

Thank you once again for your review,
