The paper is NEVER on time as of this time I am still waiting on my Sunday newspaper. I delivered the DDN for 20yrs and would be ashamed to be this late with my customer's paper. I took pride in my work and made good tips. I wouldn't tip this carrier for such poor customer service.

This is the twenty third day that I am complaining about our Dayton Daily News delivery. I have written by mail. I have called many times. All I get is connected to someone in Missouri. We have been a customer for over forty years and this is the first time we have been ignored about the service we are not getting. DOESN'T ANYONE AT DAYTON DAILY CARE IF A CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED OR NOT. OUR BOYS WERE CARRIERS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND NEVER HAS THE DAYTON DAILY NEWS TURNED THEIR BACK ON A CUSTOMERL WHY DOENS'T ANYONE CARE

I have been experiencing the same problem. Today again I sent an email to Customer "Care" ???. They are not in Dayton and could care less about delivery issues. They are rude to callers. I receive the digital, but I have the print issue sent to my sister. She does NOT have internet. If my sister does not receive her print issue, I will cancel today. The founder of the DDN would roll over in his grave to know how little the DDN cares.

some of the things where ok did not like the carrier service it was always just throne in the yard and when we got the big snow they just threw the paper in a big snow drift. Then when I called to cancel the paper they kept trying to get me to keep it but the worse part is they just took money out of my account for another month when I already stopped the paper and I did not give them permission to take anything out of my account I guess they think they can do what they want so there for I will never get there paper again.

Over the past few months the paper has not been delivered many times. Missed papers are never delivered as stated they would be. The contractor who is responsible for deliveries on my street can't remember to deliver to the same address 7 days a week! I know they drive by because the neighbors get papers. I've had the DDN for 35 years. Not any more. Contractor delivery is going to kill off printed newspapers because the same contractor delivers ALL printed newspapers you're subscribed to, not just the DDN and Springfield News Sun. Customer service is iffy, too. One representative said she had no internet and she just hung up on me. I called again and the man I spoke with was a super customer service representative. Cox needs to do a lot of quality control in both customer service and contractor oversight. I was in charge of government contacting for years. If one of our contractors had been this bad for not nearly this long I would have fired the contract manager and defaulted the contractor. Someone at Cox media needs to wake up and then be replaced.

i used to deliver papers when i was younger to make extra money. i can't remember a day when we didn't deliver the paper. even on holidays everybody got a paper. when weather got real bad or when i got 2 routes my mom would get up out of bed and drive me on my route. now maybe i'll get a paper maybe not and heaven forbid cold or snow that just means forget it. i subscribe for the paper not the grief.. i don't want my paper on-line. i just want it delivered like a 10 or 12 year old would deliver it. last chance , maybe you need more help? paper is soooo short on ads and anything special anymore . i suspect you'll all be looking for new jobs soon also. how long can you put out nothing? sorry, chris hamlin ps i have plenty of time to write because i have no paper.
