I've read all Harry Potter books (except the last) and seen all the films. This is my second favorite. True enough to the book, nice balance of humor and escalation of seriousness in plot. Also, moving soundtrack.

Focused way too much on romance while it really wasn't a big part of the story, added humor where it wasn't needed, and belittled many characters. It did do some things right but it wasn't enough to make up for their big mistakes.
