Another round of wet weather Thursday

Breezy and quiet until tomorrow morning

MOLINE, Ill — Good evening!

We are going to continue to see some brief clearing clouds for the rest of the evening and into the early overnight hours. Winds will stay breezy tonight, too. Lows tonight will be cooler in the mid to upper 40s.

Don't be surprised if you see a new round of wet weather by the time you wake up or get going on your morning commute tomorrow! We have a system that will bring a new round of showers and storms through the morning and afternoon hours. Not really expecting severe weather but the Storm Prediction Center has a level 1 out of 5 threat for areas far south including Burlington for the possibility of some hail.

Rain will move out by the evening and we will see drier skies take over for the weekend. Sunshine returns for Friday with highs staying seasonably cool in the upper 50s. This will be the story for the weekend. Overnight lows on Friday and Saturday night are expected to get to the 30s so some frost headlines may be in place.

We will return to the 60s by the new workweek and we see a few chances of showers scattered throughout the week.
