Amy Adams Marries Darren Le Gallo

After a seven year-long engagement, Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo have finally wed.

The couple were married in a small, intimate ceremony Saturday at a friend’s house outside of Santa Barbara, California, PEOPLE confirms. The bride wore Marchesa and celebrity wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove orchestrated the ultra-private nuptials.

The Big Eyes star and her actor husband, both 40, were engaged in 2008 and have been together for 14 years. The couple’s wedding plans have been continually delayed while Adams has focused on her skyrocketing acting career.

“I’ve been really busy, and I feel like a horrible fiancée that I haven’t gotten swept up in the whole idea of a wedding,” Adams told Allure in 2009. “But I just haven’t.”

Luckily for Adams, her Trouble with the Curve costar wasn’t rushing her down the aisle.

“He wants to be married,” Adams says. “He’s sort of, you know, ‘This is going to happen, right?’ He understands I’m busy but he’s ready.”

But since welcoming daughter Aviana, 5 this month, “I am putting more pressure on myself,” Adams told InStyle in 2011. “I’ll figure it out soon.”
