Hideout 1 Container

This may have been asked before and I put google upside down, but I couldn´t find any clues how to open that container.

I only found this strange place with runes on the ground which give you a vision, if you stand there long enough, but this "21" digit shown (may be randomized) didn´t help me at all.

If the devs read this: I find it way too hard to obtain the code (and maybe others), even more when you only get parts of a code (not all 4 digits) and time keeps ticking while you fiddle around with the locks. :(

Are you referring to the container attached to the outside of the house? It's not really meant to be opened yet.

I thought the numbers that were pre-entered in the different locks were meant to be used elsewhere, or the numbers you can see in the various documents you pick up, but so far no luck. At the moment though, I haven't seen any item (aside from the pistol) that would be an enormous help or even interesting to find, so I stopped trying a while back.

Ok, thanks Null Winter. That makes things even harder, not knowing which crates can be opened and which code belongs where. Well... hmm.

As far as I know (at least in the first chapter) there's only one code-locked container you can find the code for. I assume it's something they plan on doing more with later. You could certainly make the nights creepier... (Hearing a scratching sound from inside the container, then you have to make the decision to try and force it open with a crowbar (hey, can we get a crowbar?) or nail it shut even tighter.)
