Code Locked Container in Hideout 1
Is the code able to be found in game? I have googled it and gotten all sorts of answers, from it's forever locked, it was a backer code (I'm a backer and didn't get anything) it WAS a backer code but it changed in Alpha 10, does that mean it's in game? Is the code random?

Why are there no answers for this? I'd at least like to know if it's in game. I'm on day 7, still in the dry meadow, should I have found it by now if it is?

Everything you find in the game is openable. The codes are randomized every time you start a new game. The reason is so people can't just loot all the big chests at the start of the game and they have to explore the relative parts to find the new codes.

you should get a code to the create in the first hideout via e-mail i think as a backer gift. there is also a dream seqence but its seperate from the code.

i beleve you used to get the code in the underground enterance.

A relevant thread.

If you were at the appropriate backer tier but didn't get the email, then you should prod the developers.
