Brian Cox says the Bible is “one of the worst books ever”



Brian Cox has expressed his opinions on religion and its impacts on politics and humanity.

•On whether religion holds humanity back,
“Oh considerably, yes – I think religion does hold us back because it’s belief systems which are outside ourselves. They’re not dealing with who we are, we’re dealing with, ‘Oh if God says this and God does that’, and you go, ‘Well what is God?’ We’ve created that idea of God, and we’ve created it as a control issue, and it’s also a patriarchal issue … and it’s essentially patriarchal – we haven’t given enough scope to the matriarchy.”

•Why he disapproves of the Bible.
“It’s Adam and Eve, I mean the propaganda goes right way back – the Bible is one of the worst books ever, for me, from my point of view. Because it starts with the idea that Adam’s rib – you know that [from] Adam’s rib, this woman was created, and they’ll believe it cause they’re stupid enough. They need it, but they don’t need to be told lies, they need some kind of truth, and that is not the truth. It is not the truth, it’s a mythology you know … it’s not really to do with what women understand more than anybody.”

The latest allegation surrounding Hybe is that they are, in fact, a part of Dahn World cult. And there's proof! But first a bit of backstory on Dahn World. This NRM believes that man and God are the same, and they worship Mago, the universe's goddess. I googled but it's info is all just tied back to this story and I didn't feel like scrolling to the second page of results (does anyone do that?). Anyway, onto the allegations!

Katy Perry "Gets a Haircut," Her Fanbase Freaks Out In The Comments



Yesterday, Katy Perry shared a video of her getting a haircut.

Her fans freaked out in the comments because the last time she got a short haircut, she flopped (Witness era).

Comments such as, “Girl what are you doing.”

“Girl I thought we learned our lesson.”

and

“Don't you remember what happened the last time you cut your hair.. we were all rooting for you!!!”

Perry then shared a video to calm people down saying, “You guys had a lot of strong feelings about my haircut, let’s see that energy for KP6, cause this is just a wig.”

Halle Bailey Reveals Her Quiet Battle With Postpartum Depression


Grammy nominated and actor Halle Bailey had her son Halo in January 2024. Halle revealed that she's been quietly navigating postpartum depression.

Halle took to social media to share her experience. “I look at him [Halo] and I cry because of how special he is. The only thing that has been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body. It’s crazy. I feel like a completely different person when I look in the mirror, I just feel like I’m in a whole new body. I don’t know who I am.”

Halle was honest and admitted that she feels as if she's flailing. She shared, “It almost feels like you’re swimming in this ocean that’s the biggest waves you’ve ever felt, and you’re trying not to drown, and you’re trying to come up for air. You have those moments where you come up for air and they’re like the most beautiful things and it’s great. Then, you have those moments where you’re drowning in it. It has nothing to do with my baby, it has everything to do with me and who I am right now.”
