'I'm going to have three grandkids under three by f***ing May!': Danny Dyer finds it 'petrifying' that daughter Dani is having identical twins with Jarrod Bowen - but is 'over the moon'

Danny Dyer has admitted that he finds it 'petrifying' that his daughter Dani is having identical twins and making him a grandfather of three by May.

The former EastEnders actor, 45, was on The Jonathan Ross show this week where he discussed the soon-to-be new arrivals in his Dyer clan.

His Love Island star daughter Dani Dyer, 26, announced in January that she is expecting twin daughters with her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, 26.

And now her actor dad has divulged about his position as a grandfather to her son Santiago, two, who she shares with her ex partner jailbird Sammy Kimmence, and the next two to be born later this year.

Speaking to host Jonathan, Danny said: 'I'm a grandfather… he's beautiful, he's such a lovely little boy. She's [daughter Dani] pregnant again with twins. Identical girls. So I'm going to have three grandkids under three by f***ing May.'

He adds: 'It's petrifying. I am over the moon. It's weird when your kid's pregnant. You worry about them. It's a miracle the whole thing, especially with twins.'

Danny continues: 'I thought, when you become a grandfather, your kids have grown up and f***ed off. Whereas I'm still bringing up a 9-year-old son, I've got a 15-year-old daughter and grandkids.'

Speaking about Dani's partner Jarrod Bowen playing for West Ham, Danny says: 'West Ham until I die. You can't tell them who to fall in love with… all of a sudden she's brought home a West Ham player.

'I couldn't have hand picked a better human being, he's beautiful. He comes round and I get all starstruck.'

Speaking about going to games when he's playing Danny says: 'There is a chant, which I think is quite sweet.

'When he scores - and he does score a lot - [they chant] 'Bowen's on fire and he's sh**ging Dani Dyer!' I've been over there when they're singing it, jumping around. Is that wrong?'

Earlier in the show, Danny hinted at a secret feud with some of his EastEnders co-stars, after bidding an 'emotional' farewell to the soap following a nine-year stint.

The actor's final scenes as Mick Carter aired on Christmas Day, and saw the Queen Vic landlord mysteriously lost at sea after plunging into the water to save his estranged wife Linda.

And now, Danny reveals that if his career goes 't**s up' he may head back to Albert Square in a few years time, joking he'd arrive back in Walford 'covered in seaweed' following a salty exit.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs on Saturday, the soap actor adds that 'does miss' many of the stars he worked with on the show, and he 'loves them dearly.'

But when pressed by host Jonathan, the star coyly says 'not all' of the soap's cast have such a valuable place in his heart, but refuses to name any names.
