Dancing with the Stars may be kicking off its 31st season, but it’s making history as the first ever show to be broadcast live via Disney+. You read that right — ! After 30 seasons on ABC, the hit dance competition series has a new home on the streaming service Disney+, but your viewing experience should remain pretty much the same (except now you need Disney+ and the show will be commercial-free).

How do you vote for Dancing with the Stars Season 31 on Disney+?
You can vote for your fave star/pro combo either online or by text, just like in previous seasons. However, if you want to vote online you need to go to a new website: disneyplus.com/vote. To vote via text message, just text the first name of the star (like “SHANGELA” or “JESSIE” or “SAM” or “JORDIN”) to 21523.
What time does voting for Dancing with the Stars Season 31 open?
Voting opens right when the show starts airing on Disney+, which is at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Unlike in previous seasons where the west coast was pretty much shut out of voting due to the time difference, viewers from all across America, Canada, and Puerto Rico can all vote at the exact same time since the show is airing live at the exact same time.
What time does voting for Dancing with the Stars close?
Voting closes 10 minutes before the end of the two-hour episode. That means that you need to get your votes in by 9:50 p.m. ET / 6:50 p.m. PT.
How many times can you vote for Dancing with the Stars?
Every person can vote up to 10 times via online, and 10 times via text.
