Dan Brown is an American author whose writing reputation precedes him. He has authored several #1 bestselling novels, most notably The Da Vinci Code- one of the bestselling novels of all time.
The book was the second part of the Robert Langdon series which chronologically began with Angels & Demons (2000), The Da Vinci Code (2003), The Lost Symbol (2009), Inferno (2013) and Origin, launched in 2017.
Despite his controversial style, Brown has sold over 200 million printed copies translated in 56 different languages; one that had him listed among the 100 Most Influential People in the World by TIME Magazine in 2005.
A graduate of the prestigious Amherst College, he began his career as a teacher of English before fully venturing into writing.
