Yes, the Fifty Shades films are oozing with sex. And yes, the film's stars are stripped down to their skivvies in majority of their scenes. But Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker are movies, not porno flicks. So viewers shouldn't expect to see lead actor Jamie Dornan showing off all of his private parts for the sake of film noir.

Since the first film premiered in 2015, fans have gotten an eyeful Dornan's chiseled abs and tight buns. However, the actor, who plays billionaire BDSM master Christian Grey, has yet to go completely nude in any of the movies—and he'll remain mildly covered up when the third installment of the film, Fifty Shades Freed, releases in theaters on Friday.

But that doesn't mean the 35-year-old wasn't pressured to go full-frontal by studio heads. There were rumors producers offered Dornan an additional $1 million to give viewers a peek of his most intimate parts. In an interview with Elle magazine, released on Tuesday, Dornan denied the allegation. He also made it clear he had no intentions of ever doing so.

"That whole thing with offering more money to go nude? That didn't happen," he said. "You see my arse quite a lot. That doesn't really bother me. You see a lot of Dakota's tits. I would show my tits if I had them."

According to the father-of-two, going full frontal didn't add to the value of the movie, so he didn't feel it was necessary to show off his parts. "I don't know if I said I wouldn't," he said. "I just thought, 'We don't need to be flashing the rest if it's not essential to the story.' We're not making porn as much as people think we are."

While shooting Christian's love scenes with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), Dornan kept his genitalia covered with a modesty pouch, or, as he called it, a "wee bag."

In early February, Dornan appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and revealed he wore a bag "like a potato sack" to keep his goods in check. While speaking with Elle on Tuesday, he offered more details about the pouch. "They're all skin-colored—but, like, if you'd gotten jaundice. That color. Like an ill person," he said.

Although his wardrobe assistant swore the bag hadn't been previously used, Dornan said the inside of the bag was marked "Inmate No. 3," as if another actor had already worn it in a prison movie: "I very nearly puked. As my genitals came to a rest at the bottom of this thing, I thought, 'Someone has worn this.'"

"I called the wardrobe assistant. I was like, 'Dude, what the fuck? This is secondhand?'" Dornan continued. "He said, 'No, trust me.' but he lost my trust."
