'I didn't want to get hit with a belt': Dakota Johnson reveals she used a derriére double for S&M punishment scene in Fifty Shades
She was pretty much relatively unknown in Hollywood until it was announced that she would take on the role of Anastasia Steele in the screen adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey.
But despite stripping down for most of her debut lead role, Dakota Johnson has revealed she used a derriére double when it came to getting spanked.
The 25-year-old actress told how she was not up for the S&M punishment scene with her co-star Jamie Dornan because she couldn't handle the pain.

According to the Daily Star, Dakota said: 'There was a close up of a bum getting hit with a belt.
'That was not my bum, because I didn't want to get hit with a belt.'
Speaking to Access Hollywood earlier this month, Dakota revealed that her favourite sex scene in the film is when her character Steele loses her virginity to Christian Grey.
The Texas born actress said: 'The virginity scene I think is something that is so beautiful.
'And the way that [cinematographer] Seamus [McGarvey] and [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] shot that scene – it's really incredible.'
She added: 'And the colors! It's so saturated and then, just watching a really profound moment in a young girl's life. I think that was pretty special to do.'

On Thursday evening Dakota was the toast of the town as she walked the red carpet in London's Leicester Square.
But Johnson quickly went from angelic to biker chic by adding a studded leather jacket to her white, plunging gown for the Fifty Shades Of Grey film premiere afterparty.
The brunette actress looked every inch the rock goddess in her edgy look as she headed back to her hotel after living it up at Aqua.

Dakota went bra-less in her silver-edged dress, which was cut almost down to her navel.
She paired the flowing gown with silver sandals and a pearl cocktail ring.
The star, who plays inexperienced student Anastasia 'Ana' Steele in the racy Sam Taylor-Johnson film, looked worlds apart from her naive alter-ego in her sexy outfit.

Dakota toughened up her look with a slick of burgundy lipstick, a liberal amount of bronzer, and wore her hair down straight.
The beauty, who is the daughter of actress Melanie Griffith, had managed to fly largely under the radar until landing the high-publicity role.
And as her profile is set to skyrocket with the release of the film on Friday 13 February, which also stars hunky Jamie Dornan, Dakota is worried her new-found fame might affect her lifestyle.

Partying the night away: Dakota was celebrating the release of the film with a big night out in London
'I think about my dwindling anonymity,' she explained in an interview with VOGUE magazine.
'And that’s really scary because a very large part of me would be perfectly happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having babies and chickens and horses - which I will do anyway.'
However, she felt she couldn't miss the opportunity to take part in the big screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling novel.
She explained: 'I wanted to be involved because it’s so different and it’s an intense love story.'
