Alex Rodriguez was seen having a family lunch on Monday at downtown hotspot Bar Pitti.
The former Yankees slugger broke bread with his former wife, Cynthia Scurtis — as well as the ex-couple’s daughters, Natasha and Ella, plus Scurtis’ current husband, Angel Nicolas, and their young daughter, spies told Page Six.
Also at the lunch was Rodriguez’s nephew, Nick Silva, who works at his company, A-Rod Corp.
A source said the group has been staying together in the Hamptons, where Rodriguez has just rented a mansion in Bridgehampton. The group apparently headed into Manhattan on Monday, and stopped at celebrity favorite Bar Pitti after strolling around Soho, spies said.
They arrived after 1 p.m., and A-Rod was seen presiding over the meal in a white button-down, jeans, high-top sneakers and sunglasses.
Rodriguez, 45, and Scurtis, 48, have been spending more time together after his recent split from fiancée Jennifer Lopez. A-Rod also recently posted on Instagram that he and Scurtis — as well as Nicolas — did a “54-day fitness challenge” together, with the caption, “Cynthia is a world-class mommy to our girls.”
The lunch with his ex also comes as Rodriguez was reportedly spotted at a Hamptons birthday party on Saturday for Ben Affleck’s ex, Lindsay Shookus. But sources close to A-Rod said the pair are purely pals, and have “been friends for 15 years.”
Lopez, 51, has moved on from her relationship with Rodriguez with another former fiancé, Affleck, 48. They were photographed kissing for the first time this month, since reigniting their romance earlier this year.
A source told us that despite the speculation about his love life, Rodriguez is focused on other things.
“He’s not looking to date anyone,” insisted an insider of the MLB broadcaster. “He is really concentrating on his kids, baseball and business. He is content being alone, and wants to be around his family.”
The source also said that, “out of respect to Jen, he’s not looking for that, he’s in no rush.” The source said Rodriguez has been telling pals, “I’m concentrating on the three B’s: baseball, business and my babies.”
The source also told us there was some friction between J.Lo and Scurtis, and that the breakup has paved the way for A-Rod and his ex to spend more time together.
Rodriguez was also seen with Silva and others at Sag Harbor restaurant Le Bilboquet over the weekend.
We previously reported that Rodriguez has rented a 9,200-square-foot, seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Hamptons home on 3.9 acres. He posted an Instagram video of himself shooting hoops outside the house last Thursday.
Rodriguez and Lopez dated for four years before they confirmed the end of their engagement on April 15.
Affleck and Lopez, meanwhile, got engaged in 2002 but never made it down the aisle. They were alleged to be romantically linked again in April.
