Cynthia is the one of the many personalities of Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. Artemis got part of her goddess personification from her, and she is a goddess of hunting. Coincidentally, Apollo's other name would be Cyntheus. Artemis got her as an epithet because of her mother Leto, was forbidden by Hera to give birth, so Leto finally found a place to give birth, which was on Cynthia's island.

Since Artemis is such a major goddess, she would be Cynthia's major version. For that, Cynthia is grateful of Artemis' loyalty and bravery. Her contributions to protecting wildlife and humanity made Cynthia totally proud.
