No hesitation in buying from this dealership

I have purchased several vehicles over the years from this dealership and I have always had a pleasant experience. Several of the staff members know me by name such as Joe, Winston, Mike, Barton, Claudio and Connor. The service department staff is real friendly too. Once in a while my appointment time was a little screwy but it never turned into a big deal and was always handled easily and efficiently.

We had the best costumer service from Joe, Barton and Mike. They made everything possible for us to get into another vehicle. So we just wanted to say "THANK YOU" and have a "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"!

After a long time debating if I should say something I

After a long time debating if I should say something I was encouraged to tell my story to help others with making a decision on spending money here. I had a problem with my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 90000 miles on it. I would engage into four low but it would not disengage out. I just moved to the island and I did not have a house or my tools so I was in the mercy of the dealership. I told them what the problem was and they said that they need the vehicle for a while to diagnose the problem. They had the vehicle for about three weeks and told me that the transfer case was bad and I need a new one. I thought that it was odd because I never use it to pull anything or use 4 low. Matter in fact it was an accident that I engaged it. Never the less I gave my trust to the dealership and had them replace it. After a month they told me it was going to cost more due to the rust I had. I said ok just get it fixed. When they are finished with it they gave me a call to come pick it up. I immediately felt something wrong with the steering. It felt like their is no power coming from the front end. After I get it home I decided to engage it into 4 low to see if the problem was fixed. Infact it was not; it would not disengage out of 4 low. I called them and told them that they did not fix the problem. They told me to bring it back so they can take a look at it. After a few days they called me and said that the transfer case was bad and they need to order another. Another month goes by and they told me to come pick it up. This time I engaged it into 4 low at the dealership and it would not disengage out. Again! Same problem. They didn't even check their work. They kept the vehicle for another 2 weeks and called me to tell me that it is the transfer case control module. So I asked them so I didn't need a whole transfer case? They argued with me a said that it was bad and needed to be replaced as well. They ended up charging me for the transfer case and the controller module. Don't go here the customer service is terrible and they do not verify their work. Go to windward if you need work!

Signed contract on Saturday to buy a Jeep. Was told if I...

Signed contract on Saturday to buy a Jeep. Was told if I went with my own outside financing with a World known Credit Union the check the Credit Union pre approved me with (that I took with me from the Credit Union) would take 2 weeks to clear and take delivery of my car. They said it was to make sure that no one (me or bank) would cancel check. The check cleared and funds released to dealership in 1 day after they deposited, which was Wednesday. Now we're at Friday night and Sales Manager Juan, General Sales Manager Joe, Director of Sales Sze, and CFO Clarence are ALL saying over this past week they have a "rule/ policy" (that they can't produce in writing) stating if you don't sign a 2nd or back-up contract with them and you present your own preapproved financing they have a policy to not release your vehicle for 2 weeks to "make sure" nothing goes wrong. I was willing to wait for check to clear but now I'm at 1 week since signing contract and 3 days since Credit Union verified check has cleared and I still haven't received my car. The CFO told my legal representative I could just take back my check....What?? MY Credit Union check has CLEARED CLARENCE! Ive attempted to contact Jarrett Cutter to help him get back in touch with his company and clue him in on their TERRIBLE Sales department at Pearl City and his Director of Sales Sze Quek who told me and my legal rep. that it's a verbal rule (nothing in writing). They had a whole day to produce this policy and nothing yet. Their CFO at Cutter also can't produce this policy in writing. I have bought cars from Servco Toyota, Acura Honolulu, Nissan in the past. With all the choices on island, I attempted to take a chance at buying my 1st Jeep model ever. This will be my first and last dealing with Cutter. Never again! They have the ability to hand me my keys and car and for NO legitimate reason they want to hold on to it. Ive also been told 4 separate times this week I could pick up my car only to be told after each time that i couldn't. It has been verified the check is cashed and the small difference I had to pay out of my debit account has cleared since Saturday 1 week ago. The vehicle is fully funded and they know it. Resorting to legal help is where it's at. Don't go down this road! Please please save your time, energy and money. GO ANYWHERE but CUTTER. THEY'RE A big name company acting like a back alley pop up shop.

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS! I had an absolutely amazing experience at Cutter Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram of Pearl City. I am brand new to the island; I am moving here to become a teacher. My family and I came to Cutter with no prior knowledge of Cutter Dodge of Pearl City, we just knew we needed to purchase a car at a great rate. After meeting with Kobe, Joshua, and Drevis, all of whom were extremely respectful, kind, and helpful, we were able to close on a beautiful new car that will support my endeavors during my time on the island. I bought my car on June 7th; this was my second day on the island. The team at Cutter made me feel at home, and Kobe even provided many local food spots for me to check out in my island experience. To all of the Cutter team at Pearl City, THANK YOU! Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and I am so happy to be a part of the Cutter Ohana.

If I could leave no stars I would. I’ve been waiting for over two hours for them to inspect my car and nothing. Asked to leave and they said I have a invoice and I need to wait. Invoice! For what my truck literally never left the parking spot it was in for over two hours. Horrible service!

So upset

Purchase car 3 weeks ago but they took It back...coz they said the bank change the desicion...I need a co sign on the car...but I already sign the agreement. .we make the deal yet????now I lost my time.. thought i will kept the car already....

2014 wrangler find Armando maza at cutter jeep

Best buying experience we had. Wanted to upgrade our Jeep Wrangler to a unlimited wrangler Armando maza was extremely helpful in finding us the perfect vehicle we wanted no rush or pressure into buying and understood what we wanted to pay and did his best to fight for us.

Stay away

I DO NOT suggest using this dealership for sales or service. I should have read the reviews here before trusting them with the care of my van. I have been a customer of Dodge Cutter of Pearl City for a little over a year after we moved to the area. This customer service has absolutely no communication with each other.... one will say one thing and then another will say otherwise. For example, after a transmission fluid flush, they found a leak of transmission fluids with the following oil change, I was told this was covered under my warrenty (only after asking, they didnt even think to look it up) but that my warrenty was ending the next day and they had no time to fix today... understandable, so they told me come in today and they would leave the file "open" so they could fix it and it still be under warrenty since they had no openings that day. I show up today... they didnt even put me on the schedule, no one was aware I was coming and NO ONE knew about the "promise" that was made to me on coming in today and fixing it under warrenty. Every oil change comes another "new" problem found with this vehicle.... Either this 4 YEAR OLD vehicle made by dodge is horribly made and I dont recommend anyone buying one... or the service here is dishonest. My visits to this place since moving here have lead to disaster, more money, additional complications and no resolve. They only want your cash, they don’t care on how this car is your livelihood getting to and from work and supporting your family.
