Sunny, breezy conditions to end November; highs in the 60s, 70s most of the week

Average temperatures rounding the bend into December hover in the 60s, so this weather is a slight departure from the norm.

Winter weather, where?

December is right around the corner, but the high temperatures this week will be far from frosty.

Sunny and breezy conditions were expected in North Texas the first half of the workweek, with afternoon temperatures in the upper-60s and low-70s.

By Thursday and Friday, temperatures are forecast to max out in the upper 70s. But overnight low temperatures continue to reach the 40s, making for coat-worthy, chilly mornings, Johnston said.

Temperatures leading into December usually average in the 60s, so this week’s weather is a slight departure from the norm, according to climatological data from the National Weather Service. This time last year high temperatures were in the 50s and the low on the Nov. 30, 2020 reached freezing.
