Culture Amp is extremely user-friendly. The layout and design are clear and eye-catching without being too busy, making it appealing to look at and very easy to navigate. I think the prompts for self reflections help me to ensure I'm covering bases that I may not have on my own, and it makes for a productive and guided performance review meeting. This software "facilitates" these meetings - saving managers time and stress while also allowing them to really connect with their staff and check - in on their wellbeing and progress. I do not have any bad things to say about the software, besides that I feel my email reminders regarding updates from management, meetings scheduled, deadlines etc. are sometimes random, and I never know to expect to recieve them or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it's centralized and can be a source of truth for engagement data, 1-on-1, and goals. It conveniently integrates with Google Calendar, making my life easier by not having to worry about scheduling or creating new templates. It's great when you meet with multiple direct reports weekly. I like that it encourages managers to bring "feelings" conversations into 1:1s along with the more practical purposes of connecting. I also love that there are Life Lab coaching courses that are accessible for professional development! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could create our own 1-on-1 templates and have a comprehensive page for each of my direct reports rather than just a feed. A page that includes their goals clearly and links to 1-on-1s. In that vein, it would be cool to view goals somewhere on the 1-on-1 page to hold folks accountable. The editing on 1-on-1 times out easily, so it doesn't always save, and the linking functionality sometimes doesn't work for me (I end up replacing the full text). User-friendly formatting, extensive articles on 'how to's, accommodating and responsive customer support team, science backed analytics, every part of the employee profile is in one spot, smooth integration with ADP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As much as I appreciate the extensive library of articles on using the system, sometimes I get frustrated to be sent an article to read vs my Customer Success Coach just speaking me through the scenario. Understandably, there role is not to be a system expert, but then take the extra step to connect me with a live person who can hand hold me through the scenario. Specifically, I struggled with the set up of the Year End Performance Review. Questions came up frequently when we rolled out the performance review for the first time in December 2022. It was incredibly intensive, and I had to be a system expert, and that's not the best customer service in my opinion.
Plus the articles for this scenario were missing many basic details. So, it required having a base level knowledge of the setup before you could understand the article. I shared this feedback with our CSC and the Support Team. I can't express how difficult it was and really didn't get much support from CSC or the Support Team. From an implementation/getting started perspective, Culture Amp offered the most complete and comprehensive onboarding process. As an administrator, I was set up for success from Day One with an easy to use support system that walked me through each step and made sure any support resources were accessible at the click of a link. If our implementation would have gone wrong, it would have been on our side because we didn't complete a step. There was never a lack of support from the Culture Amp side.
As an ongoing user, the insights we ahve been able to gather have proven invaluable to making well-informed, data-driven decisions. The additional analytics that Culture Amp is developing are continuing to expand this capability for us.
What I find most valuable is the ongoing partnership from our account manager, customer success team, and our people scientist. They provide consistent and ongoing support to ensure we are maximizing the value of the platform and features, sharing additional insights into patterns in our data, and helping us plan for the future.
I highly recommend Culture Amp in terms of the product itself, but moreso in terms of how they support you to be successful with their product features. I am using this almost daily now from 1:1s to anytime feedback, to employee lifecycle surveys to engagement surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly cannot think of something I don't like about Culture Amp. Even when we have suggestions for product enahcements, the team is always open to customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to the previous tool our company used, Trakstar, the user interface is more intuitive and options for customizability are great. The integration with 3rd party tools, such as Teams, are also a useful addition to minimize friction and effort to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This could be an issue with how our company has configured Culture Amp - but there are times where feedback will be submitted to me, but it doesn't appear in the Feedback section. Instead, I have to click the bell icon in the navbar to find it. This is a bit troublesome as I don't always receive a notification for when I get feedback, and I have to just check every now and then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to set up and implement surveys and performance reviews.
Great insight, heatmap and report features provided in relation to the surveys. We rolled out an annual engagement survey and the insight section was utilised to present to the Executive Committee and develop actions from.
Great ongoing communication options related to the performance reviews - 1:1, notes and goals. Encouraging staff and managers to continually consider ways to improve performance and support the efforts being made.
Cutomer service team are always prompt to reply and will ensure you are happy with the support provided.
I highly recommend this platform. Great features and a fantastic modern interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Platform is great if we had to really pick at something it would be the interaction between reviews and self reflections.
Employees who were managers reported it wasn't user friendly navigating between their reports self reflection, peer feedback and the managr performance review they were completing for their report. Would prefer them not to be in separate drop down Performance sections. It would be handy to be able to access them all in the same place and be able to view the self reflection and peer feedback on the same screen (side pane view) while completing the manager review. I like the fact that it is very diligent and robust in terms of integrations, calendar support, and aggregating metrics both individually and organizationally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the fact that culture amp is pretty much only use by individuals once a year who are not directly involved with people and talent or human resources. I'd like to figure out a way to incorporate culture amp into my day-to-day work as a school of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful tool I find within culture AMP is the ability to track 1:1 improvements week by week to encourage growth and have a consistent action plan relevant to the agent's performance, I also like the 360 feedback survey to encourage my growth to grow to create value within myself to be a better leader. I have yet to find something I do not like. If I can give one piece of feedback, I would for the 360 feedback to determine based on the responses what is a priority so it's easier to track progress based on direct feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to administer - with or without HRIS integration. The navigation is intuitive for employees using the platform. The base 'out of the box' package has a raft of features that anyone else would charge extra for, including a range of surveys from onboarding through to change readiness, or DEI. The AI features and reporting offer insights that may not have been immediately apparent without big data. The integration of engagement, performance management, and development is a plus for our people.
Every team member I have dealt with has been highly professional and they go out of their way to ensure we get what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of anything negative. CultureAmp delivers on its promises and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CultureAmp has a super clean and easy to use interface. Personally, I use it a few times each half, and I've found it works really well for setting and tracking my biz and PD goals. It's a simple product that just works and I love it.
I think to maximize the utility of CultureAmp though, two things need to happen: (1) your manager and your company have to go all in on using it to track and evaluate, and (2), the OKRs or broad goals/intiatives your company sets have to be crystal clear and integrated in the system. IF both of those things are done, I think it would be easier to align and track your personal goals.
BUT, even if your company isn't using CultureAmp all the time and tracking every little business outcome (they probably shouldn't anyway), CultureAmp is still worth using to make sure you're held accountable to yourself and your direct manager if no one else. See my cavaets above. There's nothing I really dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Culture Amp is the bomb because you're able to provide feedback and share learning tools, and you're also to go back and review previous skills and goals you've set for yourself to see if you've met your target. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike nothing about Culture Amp because it's great for companies to connect with their employees. I'm sure it could use some changes but the developers will make changes when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI / UX is remarkable, and what stands out is how easy its functionality is for first-time users. The 1x1 format is an excellent help in planning and improves employee engagement through its two-way communication channel. The amount of documentation it retains makes it easier to tell a progressive story of the entire project with an option to highlight milestones, which is a great help for tracking. The sliding progress bars, as well, are a great visualization tool to monitor project health. I also appreciate having the feedback feature available all time, and the ability to set reminders, capture notes during discussions, set recurring events and add and modify topics for 1x1s. Nothing comes to mind; it works pretty well with what it's aimed for. However, I have not explored all of its functionality yet, but I have had positive feedback overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Culture Amp is an excellent tool for several reasons. With Culture Amp, creating clarity in communication, employee engagement, team organization, and maintaining transparency within a team is simple. The ability to document 1:1 agendas and conversations, team and individual goals, self-reflection, and performance review capabilities saves time and creates efficiency. It's an all-encompassing tool for employees and leaders to support a collaborative and supportive culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Culture Amp integrates with Google Calendar, which is incredibly helpful. If Culture Amp could integrate with additional platforms, that would be beneficial as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the skills coaching. There are a variety of topics for individual contributors and managers that are easy to follow and great to refer back to as a refresher. They are all well-paced and relevant and are easy to find once you've logged into Culture Amp. I've completed a handful of them and try to come back to Culture Amp once or twice a quarter to see if there's anything new.
My organization also uses Culture Amp to survey employees following webinars and all-hands meetings. They've also used it to poll employees and give feedback on management so the organization can improve in certain areas and highlight where leaders are doing well. I haven't specifically experienced anything that I would say I dislike! Perhaps if there were additional skills coaching options I might frequent Culture Amp more often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to keep all your feedback, 121s and goals in one place - most importantly though, it's so user friendly and good to look at it's an app I actually want to be part of my day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish we could input feedback from outside the tool, e.g feedback we get from our customers or via an email. This would help me streamline where I keep my feedback for my quarterly reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to read because of clean views and appealing look. Can integrate easily with Slack. Reports are easy to read and understand and the question structures available, including how to group from a reporting perspective make the results useable.
People trust the anonymity so are more like to complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really re Culture Amp, more the repetitive nature of surveys in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Culture Amp allows me to have deep and meaningful discussions with staff that can impact their development in a positive way. It allows me to track conversations over a period of time to ensure I have the right information to evaluate performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having the ability to link it to Outlook would be great, so if I need to move meetings, it changes in Culture Amp as well. The system is great, and this would enhance its usability greatly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
