Painfully slow running to almost performance PC

I went to the website to get an idea of what could be added to a older laptop to speed it up, I ordered it, and the laptop sped up to to almost what my desktop can do. The old boot up took about 5 minutes without an exaggerated guess, after installing the ram and ssd it takes less than 30 seconds now, and again without an exaggerated guess. I will deffinatly go to the site again when I get another slow pc.

Satisfaction on every order I have made.

I have purchased several memory products from Crucial in the past. Each and every time, I received the items I ordered before or on the estimated delivery date. Cost of the memory was well with my budget, and I never had a "dead on arrival" problem. I will continue to make Crucial my first stop when shopping for PC memory projects.

I called in to check on the shipment…

I called in to check on the shipment status of my T705 order to Canada as it did not show a shipping status after a few days on line.

I explained to the CSR that I was under a time crunch to finish a PC build by that Friday. He was able to release the order and have it shipped that day. It arrived the next day, 2 days ahead of my deadline.

This was the best support received from any of the PC component companies I dealt with for this client's PC build.

I'll definitely be using Crucial products in the future.

Friendly, helpful and affordable

I tried to use the computer scan tool to see what was best for upgrades, but it wouldn't run on my computer. Fortunately the person at the chat help was able to find that for me.
Once the upgraded ram was installed all the issues with my computer were fixed.

Great User Interface; Great Service Experience

I had accidently selected the wrong internal memory card for my pc, and when I called for assistance, my call was answered promptly and the technician assisted me with the scan of my machine, helped process the return, and helped me acquire the RAM that was proper for my pc as well as an external sssd. I would recommend crucial to anybody who needed parts or upgrades.

DON’T RETURN YOUR ITEM!

I bought a 8gb ram stick for my Acer Nitro 5. I accidentally bought the 2400 instead of 3200. So I bought the 3200 after. Once I received both items. I eventually returned the 2400 ram stick (way before the refund expiration period ended) . The parcel was signed for and I didn’t receive the refund. So I got in contact. They said I had to wait a certain time for the refund to process and get the money in my account which is understandable. The time passed and I still didn’t get the money. So I got in contact and they said that it would go through the ‘concerned team’. I’ve waited close to a month to just get £20 back and I still haven’t received it! The live chat is terrible especially on mobile and I’ve had to go out of my way twice to give my information and chase up on the refund! I wouldn’t recommend even buying from them plus their free delivery takes almost 2 weeks. Such a bad experience!

Got the wrong RAM (SODIMM vs UDIMM)

Got the wrong RAM (SODIMM vs UDIMM). Instead of swapping 1 for 1 (same price) I was told to "buy the new and we'll send you info on how to return wrong item." Suffice to say, new RAM shows up before return instructions... OBTW, still waiting on that return info!!!

Performance no major change

Performance no major change. I ordered Crucial MX 500 ssd and 16GB 2400 RAM from crucial US website. Price was too high compared to Samsung and delivery was not smooth. I have Dell Inspiron Laptop and my other laptop have Samsung. Installation and Software was easy. I had difficulty to clone SSD due to lack of instructions.

SSD increased computer speed 3 fold

SSD increased computer speed 3 fold. Easy installation. Only issue was cloning software. Would not initiate transfer. Chat with tech who suggested loading software on removable drive. Did so and cloning hard drive went well.

An excellent value

Every time I purchase anything from Crucial.com I feel like I'm getting the best upgrades for my dollar. In this case I upgraded my RAM and replaced the SSD in my Dell G5 laptop.

Before receiving my parts, I was able to watch videos on how to do the installation which gave me the confidence that I could get it right the first time.

Finally, the only reason I didn't give a 5-star is that the tracking information link did not work. Therefore, I was not able to see the progress of the package delivery. (The problem might have been the link that was generated as I figured out that it had too many numbers at the end of the string)

The M.2 (NVMe) shipped ontime, however...

The M.2 (NVMe) shipped ontime and arrived quickly. However, it seems to be non-functional. I placed it in a USB-to-NVMe adapter to initialize it and start cloning the original in the laptop and I get the message: The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error. (Disk Management)
I tried 2 different (known working PCIE/NVMe) adapters and both the laptop it goes in and a desktop. I've done this many times before, so it should work.

Shipping takes way too long

Shipping method used took way too long for delivery.
Multiple entities handling the package makes tracking difficult also

No updates on out stacked items

I ordered memory ram, the memory never arrived. I called support and I was told the memory was out of stack. I was told I was going to get an and update email regarding the problem, but so far no emails no emails providing an eta, and still no memory.
