Coyote Valley Casino in Redwood Valley announced Wednesday it would temporarily cease operations until at least April 7.

Effective 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, the Coyote Valley Casino closed to align with the recommendations of various health experts. Gaming operations at its “Mini-Casino” will also temporarily shut down. The Coyote Valley C-Store and gas pumps will remain open as an essential business.

The number one priority is to ensure guest and team member safety. The Board of Directors of the Coyote Valley Entertainment Enterprises will constantly be evaluating the situation and communicating updates as they occur. About the Coyote Valley Tribe: The Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians have multiple projects underway and many more planned for the future. In 2016, the Coyote Valley Retail Enterprises built a convenience store, gas station and smoke free Mini-Casino. In 2019, Coyote Valley Homes I, LLP rehabilitated 21 homes and built an additional 28 new homes and a community center on the reservation. In addition, the new Coyote Valley Casino opened in a new state-of-the-art facility. Later this year, a 101-room Wyndham Garden Hotel is expected to be completed on the reservation as well. The Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians is working on an emergency declaration of a public health threat due to the Coronavirus and are taking necessary steps to protect their community and guests.
