The best employee and service we ever had was from Jimmy who prepared breakfast!
Kids loved the pool and the adults liked that we could open the doors to the deck and hang out in the courtyard while kids swam. Staff were very friendly.
I loved that they had Netflix on the tv! My room was comfy and clean and very spacious. A very relaxing stay on a trip for work!
I stayed here for 2 nights on business. I saw two large black ants in my room, as well as a spider. I noticed a slight respiratory issue after I checked out, which may have been connected to the A/C which ran non-stop my entire stay. There is scaffolding and other building materials on the exterior of the building in 2 locations, but it did not seem like any work was being performed. Not a great hotel, and it was rather disappointing when considering what I normally expect from a Marriott hotel.
I needed copies made of a document i needed to hand out, but the front desk said that their copy machine had been broken for a week. This was an inconvenience to me and forced me to go to an another outside source to get copies made. I can understand if the copy machine was not working, but why wasn't it repaired immediately.
Great location whether you are going out in East Lansing or Lansing. They seemed to have just remodeled it and everything was in excellent condition. The rooms were spacious and staff was very friendly - can't ask for much more!
We stayed here while visiting nearby family. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Beds and mattresses are great but linens are rough. Heating/cooling is long past its useful life...fan was clicking and loud, dirty filter, unit ventilator cover was falling off. No staff at the front desk at 9pm and no bell to ring. Common areas are nice with a little bistro and plenty of snack choices. Great location for either Lansing or East Lansing/MSU. Very convenient to a good mall, restaurants, movies.
Rented this room for the night of a football game! The provided shuttle services to and from the stadium ! Cold beer in the lobby, and a cafe for a nice breakfast the next morning!! And we didn't have to check out until NOON!! Super nice after a late night tailgating!!
We picked the hotel presumably for high standard of the name from previous stay, but this particular one is cheap on basicly everything. Bed comfort was poor, and I cannot imagine placing coffee maker in the bathroom by facebowl. How tacky! I thought Marriot is a classy hotel, well i guess not. This is the cheapest and nasty hotel i have ever stayed in.
Convenient location close to MSU. Friendly staff. No real restaurant, but a glorified snack bar, for all meals.
Due to street closures, I was lost in Lansing at 10 pm. The desk clerk went above and beyond to 'walk me in' to the Hotel. She was efficient, polite, and sympathetic. The hotel was clean and quiet. What could have become a nightmare, turned into a safe evening. I would definitely stay again.
nice , quality stay
The decor was awesome, and the service was friendly. However, the bed was so uncomfortable I actually slept on the couch instead! There is a nice bistro in the hotel and the food is great- basically everything was awesome except the bed.
Clean and well decorated, the newest hotel in an area with no more than 2.5 star hotels.
Nice hotel near airport
Overall very restful, but nothing extraordinary. The "quick" service restaurant (the Bistro), for breakfast at least, was woefully understaffed, and those working were often distracted by other hotel personnel.
Really not a great hotel for the money.
