We came here for their buffet lunch. There is a wide variety of raitas, picklles, chutneys and salads. The selection of main dishes, chicken, dal, lamb vegetables were tasty and flavourful. The dishes are a lit better than one would find in lunch buffets. When we asked about gulqb jamuns, we were treated to a portion of tasty, moist gulqb jamuns. YUM!!!!

The SupperClub menu is now being offered at Harvest of India. The menu is available at all times the restaurant is open even while the Harvest of India lunch buffet is offered.

Went to the Supper Club for lunch at the recommendation of a friend who said they had the best Indian buffet he'd had recently. It was good to very good but not terrific. There was an OK selection (a little limited) and they changed a few of the dishes to add some variety. The nan was quite good as was the tikka and vegetables. The mango lassi I ordered was not very good, was very small, and rather expensive. As I consider a good lassi to be integral to a good Indian meal, this lowered my rating a bit. I debated between 3 and 4. With a good lassi, it'd be a solid 4 but I'd like to give it a 3.5. Settled on a 3 because it is nothing special. Perfectly fine, but that is it.

For a number of years, the Harvest of India on Elden Street was our 'go to' place for curry. Then, a couple of years ago something changed in the kitchen and the food became inconsistent and occasionally poor. We switched to Angeethi further up Elden Street which everyone loves. Although the food there is good, we started to struggle to find good basic curry with thick spicy sauce. Something you can dip a Nan bread into!

On hearing that Harvest of India had merged with the Supper Club of India we thought it was time to try it again. Thank goodness we did. The food was delicious, the sauces were thick and nice and spicy and yes.........I could dip my nan bread with abandon!

Welcome back to good, basic curry.

Just a heads up this restaurant has moved to 364 Elden St. I stopped in to the Supper Club one night while staying at the the Marriott. I asked the waiter what was nice and spicy hot and he cautioned me on what I was asking. After a few exchanges I settled on the Gosht Achari and a side of garlic naan bread. Dinner was deliver piping hot in both ways and I started my attack. I’m glad I ordered what I did and not the next level, since this one was at about my limit. After I paid my bill the waiter came and apologized that they were moving and gave me his card with the new address. The next evening they were all packed up and moved to their new location.
