I'm an alumna and a parent. Many current parents here are also alumnae - we loved our experience so much we wanted the same for our own daughters. The academics are quite rigorous, so much so that when I went to college, an Ivy League school, it seemed easy by comparison! I heard the same from my fellow alumnae and have heard recent alumnae say the same. At that time, the humanities, especially writing and language, were exceptionally strong. I'm now a parent of a high schooler and honestly it's even better than it was. They've maintained their superior humanities programs, but also added incredible programs in science and technology.
The sense of community, service and purpose uplifts and unites the entire school, students, faculty, and administration included. The teachers are extraordinarily caring, and there is so much support for my daughter in every area. I'm thankful that I had the experience I did, but I am even more grateful that my daughter attends Sacred Heart.

Attending Sacred Heart has been a transformative experience. Academically, the curriculum is rigorous, but in a way where I feel challenged by my teachers to reach my full potential. With their guidance, I've developed key critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which I know will serve me well in college and beyond.
As an athlete, the sense of camaraderie and competitive spirit here is like no other. While I've grown as an athlete, I've more importantly grown as a teammate and friend.
At 91st Street, there's a sense of community and support that transcends the classroom. It's a place where friendships are forged, values are instilled, and dreams are nurtured. As a high school student, I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities Sacred Heart has provided and the foundation it has laid for my future.

As a senior at Sacred Heart, I can confidently say that my 12-year journey at the school has been nothing short of transformative. While the school's academic rigor has challenged me intellectually, it more importantly has fostered a genuine curiosity and critical thinking. Our state-of-the-art facilities have us learning amongst cutting-edge resources and technology, which I feel have given me a unique advantage as I head into the real world. I also credit the many service opportunities with instilling in me a sense of responsibility and empathy, shaping me into a well-rounded individual eager to make a positive impact. Thanks to the invaluable preparation I've received here, I'm thrilled to be heading to college in the fall at an Ivy League I've dreamed about going to since I was 10. Speaking from someone who was truly blessed to be able to spend 12 years at 91st Street, if there's one gift you can give to your daughter, it would be a Sacred Heart education.
