Home and Away are welcoming four new faces to the cast.

The popular Aussie soap will see a band of four called Lyrik land on the streets of Summer Bay.

Fronting the band is Bob, played by actor Rob Mallett. He will be joined by  Stephanie Panozzo as Eden, Adam Rowland as Remi and Angelina Thomson as Kirby.

The band will make their on-screen debut on Monday, July 4. 

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Rob described the soap as a 'bucket list' show to work on and said that he 'hopes to win the hearts and minds of Australia'. 

Meanwhile, Adam described how he had been working at a pub when he found out he'd got the plum role.

'I was pouring pints when my phone rang with the news. Needless to say I needed a pint or two myself after that phone call. I was excited and slightly daunted by the fact that my life was about to change. 

He added that he grabbed his guitar, packed a suitcase and 'was calling Sydney home three days later'.

Stephanie told the publication that she auditioned over Zoom as she couldn't travel from Melbourne as she had Covid.

'I thought I had lost out on the opportunity of the role because I wasn't going to be able to be in the room. I was devastated,' she said.

But days later she was told she has the role - via a FaceTime call with her agents -  which left her 'beyond excited'. 

The announcement comes after Emily Symons, who has played Marilyn Chambers on Home and Away on and off for 30 years, looked ageless at the Logie Awards on the Gold Coast.

The Aussie actress drew attention to her youthful complexion and trim physique as she posed on the red carpet in a slinky white Silvana Tedesco frock.

The mother of one styled her wavy blonde tresses out, and enhanced her blemish-free complexion with glamorous makeup.

Kohl-lined eyes, lashings of mascara, bronzer on her defined cheekbones and a slick of glossy nude lipstick finished off the red carpet look.
