I love this market. I buy good wine here. You can taste up to 5 local wines at Venzanno’s. You can buy veggies and fruits in the huge produce market.
You can buy Italian foods. There is fish and seafood available also. My favorite store is
the Amish market. They have everything you can imagine including homeade donuts and BBQ.
Plan on spending most of the day. It’s pretty packed so go late in the day to get a parking spot.

I’ve been going to the Columbus market for over 50 years. It’s always a treat. The veggie stands are outstanding as is the fish market. The inside bakery and butcher shops are great. Love the ribs. Nice people and great service. If you haven’t been you are missing out.

We went Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is definitely the day to go!! Old stuff, new stuff, lots of food! I guess people like Saturday for the Amish part of the market but we didn’t care about that part. Wear comfortable shoes. If you’re from out of state like us…bring shopping bags because NJ doesn’t allow any bags in stores, the flea market, or grocery stores.

The best outdoor flea market hands down...... on a Sunday, if the weather is nice there can be over 1000 vendors (also open on Thursday & Saturday). You can almost literally find anything out there - antiques, vintage toys, local honey, street tacos, records, yard sale stuff, house clean-outs, wholesale clothing....

Pre-Covid, prices were very good. Post-Covid, the prices have really gone up... a lot. The Amish Food Mart is good to visit every now and then. The meats are pricey and prices are jacked up because somehow people believe the meat is "Amish" and will taste better and is more wholesome than "other meat". I found this not to be the case. Even so, the bakery has cakes and donuts that are absolutely superb, but the prices of old are gone for good. This is not a discount kind of place anymore.

I agree with what most others have written on here about the indoor vs. outdoor kiosks. If you are looking for cheap electronics (charger cords, Bluetooth speakers(, knockoff purses, knives and tasers, or old toys, outside is your place! I wish there was more variety of items, almost nothing in the way of books.
Inside, the best stores are the Computer Marketplace store, Video nuts for old movies and video games (sadly mit much for Sega Genesis which is why I entered), the German deli kiosk, and the Amish housewares & food section.
This one and Englishtown are the two good ones that I’ve been to.

So much bigger than other flea markets in NJ. Lots of variety! Indoor and outdoor vendors. Very friendly atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

Very busy Farmers Market and at this time of the year with more prominent outdoor section.
You can buy just about anything here. Today the atmosphere reminded us of the Moroccan souk. Lots of merchants and merchandise. Almost a little "too busy" and if you are claustrophobic, avoid the indoor section. Variety of food stands. Locally famous Valenzano winery has its little outpost here as well. There is also a flee market section.
This is a good entertaining and interesting place.
It is an attraction in itself and as such deserves a four but Cowtown and Berlin Markets are arguably better.

We went on a Saturday, mainly for the Amish market. The meats I thought were pricey. The baked goods are where it’s at. We left with quite a few things from there. The people are the sweetest and most helpful.
We then decided to walk around the other areas. This place is a typical flea market. Inside was clean but we did not use the restrooms. Outside, you have made in China, fell off the back of a truck type goods. Strange things, strange people ect. Everyone selling basically the same things...over and over. Treasures are supposedly found on Thursday and Sunday here. Shoppers were happily walking the aisles getting their goods and bargains. Simply Just not for me. The food vendors looked pretty good and reasonably priced.
While the Amish market is the gem here for me, it was concerning the lack of social distancing by shoppers and the masks the workers there were wearing. They didn’t have the bottom secure, like what’s the point of that? There was no crowd control and it was getting packed as we were leaving. Overall it’s worth a look, it’s all a personal preference type of thing. It’s either for you or not. I’d go back for the Amish market but that’s about it.

I went on a Saturday in Sept. There were few in relation to the amount of tables available. A vendor told me that the next day (Sun) would be packed full. I won't be back there to see until spring.
Can you rent four wheel Walker at Columbus Flea Market?. I was there yesterday with my 86 year old mother and saw a lot of people using the same Walker.

Go to their web site; simply put "Columbus farmers market NJ" in the search box. Look for the tab in the middle of the page "Prospective Vendors". A pop-up will give choices. Choose the one you want. Their web site is very straight forward. Good luck!

You need two things:
1. Ice cream
2. the desire to sell it.
That's it.
